Westboro Baptist Church to Picket 'False Idols' at Comic-Con (Asylum)

Jul 16th 2010 4:55PM Everyone knows this church is a front group for the ACLU. Their pastor ran for office once, AS A DEMOCRAT! This has been well documented, why do people even care about them? Oh yeah, it gives people a reason to bash Christianity.

My (Voluntary) Year Without Sex -- A Q&A With Hephzibah Anderson (Lemondrop)

Jul 3rd 2010 3:51AM I've known many people who were completely abstinent, including married couples, sometimes by choice, sometimes as a matter of circumstance, for many different reasons, so I'm simply not impressed by this woman. Wow, a woman did what God demands? No sex without marriage? Wow, that's a first. Nobody has ever done that before... except like a great deal of the Christians I know. I've known many lifelong virgins, yes lifelong, they lived full lifespans and died without ever having sex and I know others that are in their 50s 40s 30s and 20s that have never had sex. It's not uncommon in the Christian community. Most people don't know that because we Christians don't usually blab about our sex lives because it's personal and we don't participate in sex surveys and sex studies. That throws the statistics way off and any decent author that wanted to explore this subject would benefit from that observation if they had the guts to try to find the truth instead of reguritating the communist party line that promiscuity is good (yes, spreading promiscuity is an official communist goal, look it up). Christians don't write books about our personal sex life so this area of authorship is under-represented and Christians that have written books on the subjects gather their statistics from surveys that under-represent the Christian community. Christians haven't cared however because God already wrote the book on the subject (the Bible) so what more is there to say about it? Virginity is less common than it should be, even in the Christian community, but it's not uncommon. And no, I don't live in a small southern or midwestern town. I live in a big city with loose morals, and virginity is not uncommon here either. In fact I have a distinct feeling ITS NORMAL IN SOCIETY AT LARGE, but the media tells us it's not, so we think it's not. I've talked to a lot of men privately that admitted they were virgins that didn't admit it openly. They didn't lie about it, they just didn't talk about it, it was a personal matter to them, as it should be. Partly of this reluctance to talk about virginity and abstinence is because of movies like 40 year old virgin that makes it seem that virginity is a form of perversion and perversion is a form of normalacy. People forget that virginity is the NATURAL state of a person and an act has to take place to change it. Abstinence is NOT doing something, so it takes no effort, just sit there and you are being abstinent , but try to get laid and you might have to work for it, and you'll certaintly pay for it. If this woman thinks she did something novel, she needs to write a novel, not non-fiction, because this is only novel to her or to the crowd she hangs with.

Kellogg Grants $75 Million to Battle Racism Effects on Kids (BV Black Spin)

May 13th 2010 2:14AM I will never buy Kellogs again. Battling "racism" in one particular group is, in itself racist. What if they had said they were donating to fight the racism against white people or against the tea party crowd or religious discrimination against Christians. There is no such thing as reverse discrimination, only discrimination. If it's wrong going one way, it's wrong going the other.

Do You Care About the 'Last Airbender' Casting Controversy? (Cinematical)

Apr 14th 2010 11:40AM I haven't heard anybody complain that Marvel has and is continuing to replace white characters with black actors. Are they racists against white people? Maybe, considering that Captain America issue talking about "angry white folks..." at tea parties.

Meet Hit Girl: The Coolest (And Most Controversial) Superhero of the Year (Moviefone Blog)

Apr 10th 2010 2:49PM The article quotes co-screenwriter Jane Goldman as saying, "It's not like they're slipping that character into a Disney movie." Heads up Jane, disney owns Marvel, so that's EXACTLY what they are doing.

Christian Leader Calls for Glenn Beck Boycott Over 'Social Justice' Comments (Politics Daily)

Mar 12th 2010 7:14AM Quoting the book of Matthew won't help you out commies. Christ said "YE GAVE ME DRINK" not "THE GOVERNMENT GAVE ME DRINK." That's the difference you freaking idiots. The government KILLED CHRIST. Christ NEVER said that taxes were to be used to help the poor, in fact in the Biblical system if someone doesn't work he should not eat. BAM! Take that you commie a holes. "II Thessalonians 3:10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. "(KJV) You are slandering Christ to make it APPEAR he supported communism. You will burn in hell except ye repent.

'Family Guy' Actress With Down Syndrome Skewers Sarah Palin (PopEater)

Feb 19th 2010 6:20PM Palin didn't say making fun of retarded people was okay, she said Rush Limbaugh using the word "retards" IN THE CONTEXT he did was satire because it was in RESPONSE to Rahm Emanuel using the word as an insult inappropriately. There is a difference and if some people can't see the difference they might want to consider whether they are blinded by their dislike of Palin or not. This episode of family guy wouldn't have been an issue if it was in RESPONSE to Palin doing something wrong in the context of her down's syndrome child. THAT would have been satire. THIS however was unprovoked.

'Family Guy' Actress With Down Syndrome Skewers Sarah Palin (PopEater)

Feb 19th 2010 6:13PM Making fun of people with down's syndrome is not acceptable even if they get a token to do it. Palin is a strong, loving mother, and that burns liberals up. They get ulcers thinking about her. She choose to have Trig because of her love for God and was rewarded with the love of a child. The only other choice was to murder her baby. Would that have made the liberals happy? I guess so since Obama said that babies are a "punishment" for having sex. We are in a fight between good and evil, plain and simple. One side loves children, the other does not.

Is Obama Appointee Harry Knox an 'Anti-Catholic Bigot'? (Politics Daily)

Feb 12th 2010 12:17PM The author of this article is defending the undefendable. He says this guy isn't anti-catholic because baptists believe such and such and the Moslems believe such and such but those doctrines weren't the type in question at all. Besides teaching that everyone is going to hell without Christ is NOT a baptist teaching, IT'S CHRIST'S OWN TEACHING. If a Christian does not subscribe to that teaching he can not claim to be a Christian (see John 8:24 and 3:36). It's true the catholic church MURDERED baptists throughout the centuries (and the Moslems murder EVERYONE including each other), but that's not a "doctrine" leading to someone being "hurt." That's actual murder in the name of Christ. That's NOT the kind of thing Knox was referring to. He was refering to condom use and saying THAT was "hurting in the name of Jesus." That's not only ridiculous, but it's also a matter of OPINION based on NO VERESE IN THE BIBLE so he can't claim it's a difference of DOCTRINE. Teaching that condoms should not be used hurts NO ONE because with that Catholic teaching is coupled the teaching that there is to be NO SEX OUTSIDE OF MARRIAGE. There's simply no defense of Knox's comments. There's no way telling a person to not use a condom hurts anyone as long as it's coupled with telling them not to have sex outside of marriage. In fact it's could save their lives. The statistics on condom use prove they are hardly an effective means at stopping the transmission of HIV-AIDS and they can't even prevent pregnancies in many cases, so the ONLY way to NOT hurt someone when dealing with the subject is to tell them NOT to have SEX AT ALL outside of marriage because CONDOMS ARE DANGEROUS. This is like trusting the safety on a firearm. You never point a gun at a person even when the safety is on because they are not reliable and you could accidentally shoot someone. You don't point until you are ready to shoot. Even if the gun is unloaded you never point a gun at anyone. It's a dangerous habit. It's the same principle here, you don't have sex outside of marriage at all NOT EVEN WITH A CONDOM because condoms are unreliable. You don't even point your "gun" at someone. If someone can remain abstinent throughout life that's even better and quite Biblical. Abstinance has been proven to be 100% effective at preventing sexually transmitted diseases. It works, everytime. I have no sympathy for the murderous Roman Church and their idolatry, but they are right on this one. Not using a condom hurts no one if you are not having sex and telling people that condoms help prevent disease could, in theory, encourage sex outside of marriage which in turn COULD hurt people, so the Catholic church takes the safe and more Biblical route and says "no sex outside of marriage" as their official stance. That doesn't "hurt" anyone. In fact recent studies have shown that abstinance only training IS effective at preventing pre-marital sex.

Americans Held in Haiti Plead for U.S. Government Help (Politics Daily)

Feb 9th 2010 6:05PM That's a stupid question and you know it. The answer is of course because Obama and Hillary are in power. Remember that whole president and security of state thing? McCain can't help them. He's not the president (except everybody is now wishing he was.) Liberals never have answers, just questions. Why this, why that? "Why can't we raise taxes, why can't we talk to our enemies, why can't we open the borders, why can't we stop crime, why do we have to fight terrorists, why can't Obama fix the economy, why can't gays plug each other in military baracks, why can't we take everybody's guns away, why can't we stop the fighting in the middle east, why why why..." it just goes on and on. We conservatives have answers to every question asked by these high-minded dummies but they ignore us and like fools fall into a ditch right in front of them. Obama ignored the american people on health care and now that his back is up against a wall he's willing to "talk" about it just as long as he's the one that has the microphone. He's absolutely worthless and EVERYBODY knows it now. It's going to be a bloodbath in the 2010 elections.
