Dec 23rd 2010 2:14AM My husband also does this, I've tried everything to break him of it. I need silence to sleep or natural sounds(rain, crickets). I even went so far as to buy him one of the nature sound machines to try. Which was hard to find since I needed one that came as close to reality as I could find. So now I have that and the fan going all night. If I turn either down/on low, he gets up and turns them to high/fullest volume. This has made it impossible for me to sleep through the night, so while he's getting a good night sleep...I'm up and down all night from the noise. I've tried everything including sleeping pills, ear plugs, to no avail. Now it's effecting my health after dealing with it for years. He also refuses to allow me to sleep in another room; said he can't sleep...I don't understand how anyone can quiet their mind and relax with noise going all night after having it all day.

DirecTV Begins Testing On-Demand Services (Switched)

Mar 18th 2008 8:55PM I love Direct TV's programming. I'd never go back to cable, but I think I'll just stick with my service. Direct TV tends to go overboard with some of their prices to make up for cheaper service on others. We only pay 40 dollars less then we were paying to cable, however we get less premium channels then we were with cable. But, we get three times the amount of basic channels than cable, so the trade off was worth it for us. With cable though everything was covered under the insurance. With Direct TV nothing is covered under the insurance, you have to pay to replace everything. We've had the same equipment now for about 7 years, but can't possibly be anything wrong with their equipment when something is wrong. I have a feeling Dish is going to humble them though. They've enjoyed the corner on the market too long. Dish has already been actively trying to woo us away with same programming, units in house 30 dollars less a month...very tempting.

Feb 25th 2008 5:52AM John McCain for me. Obama will win the Democratic nomination. I am not voting for a man that hasn't got a humanitarian bone in his body. No way, no how. The only thing Democrats have going for them is most are great humanitarians; who truly care. If you look at this man's voting record...commitee record. He voted to allow criminals to sue those they commit crimes against. He is the "only one" in Senate that voted against the Born Alive Infant Act. I have no idea were Democrats heads are with wanting him to win. He'll do nothing for wildlife. I'm voting for McCain.

Feb 8th 2008 1:12AM John McCain was still in Vietnam being tortured when Kerry testified before the Senate. I was alive and old enough to remember when that man got of the plane. Why are you people spreading lies? I don't care what Youtube is posting/editing together. I was there, and that is a LIE. I'd like to see Hillary and John run together one one ticket. They can call it bringing back together a divided country. Divided by the radicals on both sides.

It's socially unacceptable. Perhaps your in the right place hiding behind your PC's instead of spreading your hatred and discontent. We can read your comments and know how miserable your own life is. No need to go out of your way to bring others down. I think she did a beautiful job. :)

Dec 23rd 2007 6:35PM Ron Paul is a wonderful man, I'd love to see him as president. But, I think the thing everyone is fogetting is most of the votes here are from Republican's and look how divided they are. Republican's are not the only one's that will be voting in this election. Republican's are the minority, not the majority. I don't think he can cross the line to bring in the Conservative Democrats that are willing to vote Republican. Nor the Liberal Republican's. I adore John McCain I would not vote for him for president. Like it or not that will have to come from someone like Giuliani or Romney that are able to cross the lines. They may not be the best, but they can bring in votes from the other side of both the Republican and Democratic bases. Just like Clinton can for the Democrats...You have to be realistic in your goals. Vice president yes, I question president.

I don't like people who play to the audience they are addressing. Never have, which is why I don't like or trust Hillary or Romney no more than I do Obama. Everything that has happened with Britney's children has happened to millions of other children. Just drive down the street, you will se parents holding their children. Babies slumped over in their car seats. And children fall, no child alive is immune from falling. Which by the way it wasn't his mama he fell with. It was the nanny. Some of you people should seriously take a look in the mirror. Try cleaning up your own image before you go trying to fix hers.
