Jul 24th 2010 1:17PM I got fired because my boss used these techniques on me and thought I was lying when I wasn't.
The truth is you cant tell when someone is lying (or not) however there are visual clues when someone does lie. The problem with this whole technique is that many times someone will not be lying but gives off some non verbal cues that can be misinterpreted by a novice or communication expert wannabe. This whole concept sucks, someone is just trying to sell books. There is way too much variation in peoples reactions to be able to pin down when someone is lying just by watching their visual clues, and not to mention the fact that it reinforces what the user wants to discover.
If you are convinced someone is lying guess what?? You Could Be WRONG!

Dec 3rd 2009 1:13PM It is comical how environmentalists want to justify their own existence with the annoying assumption that man is responsible for climate changes. Man only affects about 10% of the world's climate change. Haven't heard much about global warming lately, that's because over the last few years the temps have been falling.
These assumption orientated "scientists" are not scientists at all, and they need to go home, stop stealing government money, return their grants and funding and get real jobs.

So what if he's black, am I supposed to vote for him because he is black? Of course not. I don't want to vote for him because he is black AND a racist. But just by saying THAT makes THAT a racist statement. If he was black and NOT a racist, then I could vote for him, but I don't want to because he is racist. Whenever the talk turns negative against Obama everyone assumes the negative comments are coming from a racist, that's not fair.
His church stands for open racism, his beliefs are racist, his advisors are racist and now I am learning that most of his followers are too.
