Best Buy's $200 Black Friday PC and Other Cheap Computers (Switched)

Jan 22nd 2008 11:35AM I bought an eMachine from Best Buy four years ago, 40 gig hard drive. I just added a 512 memory stick to speed it up a little more.
It has done absolutely everything I have wanted it to do. I do banking, ordering, emailing, up and download pictures. Use Adobe photo, Word, Microsoft Money, No Games, bottom line, this little sucker has run like a top. I have Comcast as my provider, with McAfee protection through AOL. AOL and McAfee are FREE people. Comcast is broad band as you probably know. The Up and Down Speeds are fine.
I love this eMachine and have no intention of getting anything else at this time.
Joe is a happy boy.

Tips From a Real Baggage Handler (Gadling)

Oct 18th 2006 3:34PM I have been flying from Richmond to Tampa for the last 4 years and have had only one incident. I left a bottle of Zanaz in my checked bag. It was stolen. It taught me a good lesson, I now carry my medicine on with me, along with any other valuables--on "With" me...

I have a sign "in" my checked bag: with my full name, destination, and my cell phone number on it.Anybody that puts a controlled substance or jewelry, or cameras, or anything of 'Value'--is making a mistake in judgement.

It "ANYBODY" packs "Money" in their checked luggage, they DESERVE to learn a costly lesson.

God Bless The Honest, Hard Working Handlers, and God Help The Thieves.
Have a Safe Flight,
and God Bless You.

Most Baggage Lost Ever! (Gadling)

Oct 12th 2006 7:38AM It is bad when some of the baggage handlers take your liquor, or you jewelry, or your perfume, but I have high blood pressure and what I had STOLEN, was my medicine....Try going to another state on a weekend without your "Prescribed" medicine". I NEVER take a flight without wondering what will be missing on the other end of the flight. A plane is just a big bus with smaller seats, no wings, and LOTS of idiots and THIEVES.

Young drivers going after "grandpa cars" (Autoblog)

May 19th 2006 5:51AM VANS-----I HAVE HAD THREE VANS IN A ROW. IN 1984, I BOUGHT (ORDERED) AN ( CARGO ) NO WINDOWS IN THE BACK. NO WINDOWS ON THE SIDES, EXCEPT THE DRIVER'S AND THE PASSENGER'S WINDOWS OF COURSE. F-150 FORD VAN, WITH EVERYTHING I COULD GET ON IT AT THE TIME. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY ARE NOT MORE POPULAR WITH THE YOUNGER CROWD THAN THEY ARE. I HAVE A LINCOLN TOWH CAR, MY THIRD ONE, I HAVE A 1980 280ZX, THAT I BOUGHT NEW, GARAGE KEPT. IF I HAD TO GET RID OF ALL OF THEM BUT ONE, I WOULD KEEP MY VAN----REASON----YOU CAN DRIVE IT, SLEEP IN IT, CHANGE YOUR CLOTHES IN IT, GET LUMBER IN IT, MOVE IN IT, GO TO THE BATHROOM ( IN A PROPER CONTAINER ) OF COURSE, PICNIC IN IT, CAMP OUT OF IT, PULL A BOAT, TRAILER WITH IT, AND THE LIST GOES ON AND ON. TRY DOING SOME OF THESE THINGS IN A Z CAR, OR A TOWN CAR.
IT IS WITHOUT A DOUBT, THE MOST VERSATILE VEHICLE I HAVE EVER HAD.
VANS VANS VAND, MAKES SENSE TO ME, ALL AROUND USE.
I HAVE HAD HAPPY DAYS ( AND NIGHTS ) IN THAT BABY.
