Relax, Sandra Bullock's Bang'n Look Is Temporary (PopEater)

Jan 17th 2011 4:09PM Sandra hair is nice - I like it better than the usual "split down the middle", especially since she's not 14 anymore. The dress, although pretty on it's own, is frumpy with that hair style. If she had put her hair up and fluffed the bangs so you could tell she had eyes, it may have worked. As for the media trying to create a phony tension between Sandra and Scarlett, please give it up. The dresses may be similar cuts but not at all alike. And really, fighting over Ryan Reynolds?

Martha Stewart Cookbook Giveaway (Slashfood)

Jan 14th 2011 4:25AM Everyday Foods is always good but I'd love the Power Foods book. My preference is to cook with fresh, vibrant ingredients which are thankfully readily available in my state so this would be a nice book to own. And it has Martha's blessing so it's gotta be good. Thanks for the opportunity.

All-Seeing Eye of the IRS Might Help Spot Missing Children (ParentDish)

Jan 12th 2011 3:18PM This type of information should have always been available to law enforcement. The IRS doesn't mind sharing your personal info with the State or your employer's HR dept when it suits their needs, (which means everyone at your employment and anyone you know at the State offices knows your business). If a child has been reported missing and the IRS knows that same child is listed on someone else's filing, then a potential crime may be in place and the so-called "privacy issues" are no longer protected. Surely it wouldn't take much to set-up a clearinghouse to make it known that such info is available, and for further disclosure, a legal warrant will need to be presented. I always wondered how the IRS sleeps at night, now I have to question how they live with themselves if they have an inkling a missing child is alive and living where they shouldn't be while their family at home are spending all their time, funds, and emotions searching. Glad we FINALLY know this info is available - now let's use it for the greater good.

'The Bachelor' Premiere Ratings Fizzle (AOL TV)

Jan 10th 2011 6:29PM I was shocked, but also glad he hadn't selected someone last time as well, but the guy never intrigued me, and often irritated me when he opened his mouth. I stopped watching when ABC first kept trying to shove "Jen" on us with finding love, then kept bringing back control-freak,demanding "Deanna". I've enjoyed the shows where the contestants behave and dress decently - it turns my stomach when they're crude and dress sleazy.

'Million Dollar Money Drop' Host Kevin Pollak Speaks (AOL TV)

Dec 28th 2010 5:24PM What do mean liars & unethical? The couple gave an incorrect answer for the original question. But because so many people are uninformed on how test products work (in only 4-5 stores, 1 isolated region for 2-3 yrs, for marketing scores) vs actually "available in stores", which was the question, they keep chanting for the couple to get the money or a second chance. FOX stepped up to the plate and have offered the couple a 2nd chance, even though they don't deserve it. Walkman was the answer. WALKMAN. They chose the wrong answer. Unfortunately, thru lots of research someone found the test market dates of PostIts, which was around the same time the Walkman was already out, but unfortunately ignorant to marketing techniques - for 99.9% of the USA, the PostIts were not available for at least 2 more years. In this case, FOX is not to blame and can't imagine what they could have done to you personally to spark so much anger.

'Top Chef All Stars' Eliminated Chef: 'Sabotage Is Such A Strong Word' (AOL TV)

Dec 25th 2010 2:39PM I like Spike but the addition of Yuzu to his dish was not the reason he was sent home, it was only one of the many items that contributed to a bland, poorly made dish. So trying to put the blame on Angelo is appropriate. It was ironic though, that of all the losing dishes, Angelo had involved himself, and each of the chefs allowed him to push his way in. I thought Angelo was a so-so chef before, haven't been that impressed this time around but he's won a challenge or two, so I was hoping things were turning around for him. Hopefully the rest will tell him to back off and let them handle their own dishes. As for Jamie...come on...this is a cooking show right? I've seen her at S.F. Farmer's Market twice doing the outdoor spiel on their Bravo tour and couldn't stomach more than 5 minutes of her or the unknown cheftestant with her - lazy speech, lazy performance, stupid dishes being made...I don't think the small crowd of tourists stopping for a moment were that impressed either.

Morgan Freeman Death Hoax: How It Happened (PopEater)

Dec 19th 2010 1:54AM He did not marry his child so your intended maliciousness is misplaced here. You may not agree with his choice to be involved with his child's adopted daughter, who is also a mature adult, but it is a legal union nonetheless. And has NOTHING to do with a sick hoax being perpetrated on him. I'm sure even you can agree that announcing a falsified death of anyone, including well-known persons, is wrong and should be punished in some way. Let's keep the focus & anger where it belongs...

Despite Technical Problems, 'Spider-Man' Mega-Musical Rocks Broadway (PopEater)

Nov 30th 2010 12:59PM The official show date has moved to January but I believe they are still doing "soft-opening" shows - call the ticket office to verify. Good luck.

Pumpkin Pie Arouses Guys More than Your Favorite Perfume (Lemondrop)

Nov 28th 2010 4:58AM They came out with a study about 3 yrs ago that said the #1 scent to lure men is cinnamon, and several manufacturers started making cinnamon perfumes, soaps, lotions. Since cinnamon is a major spice in pumpkin pie, it seems that the specific spice may be the lure because pumpkin by itself is a kinda odd, funky odor. Perhaps the above is either old news or the geniuses wasting their time with this study didn't dig quite deep enough. And the goal is what? Pumpkin pie replaces Viagra?

Confessions of a Clown (AOL Jobs)

Nov 24th 2010 4:13PM So glad your clown makeup never felt heavy or ever melted. Having been a professional clown myself for over 20 years, my makeup DID often feel heavy and although it may not literally melt off, it does get beads of oil when the temperatures go over 100 degrees, no matter how much face powder is used, at least it did for me in August on the East Coast. So bravo Nikki for having found the miracle way to apply your makeup, keep it feeling fresh and dictate who should be a clown. For us other clowns, we're happy making people happy and not condescending others with the names of "masks" and "types" or discouraging others at giving it a shot. I have loved visiting children's hospitals, reading at shelters and "at risk" schools, and handing out balloons at community events. It's all about sharing love & joy, not being the Einstein of clowns.
