New Balance 759 Shoe Giveaway (That's Fit)

Aug 12th 2010 12:22PM I'd walk to the park at the end of the street and enjoy the gulf view off of the nature trail/dock. It's a beautiful walk, lots of birds with a great gulf of mexico breeze!

Fourteen States Seek to Block Health Care Reform Law in Court (Politics Daily)

Mar 24th 2010 1:06PM Listen, This whole bill is BS. Government Insurance isn't going to help. The reason our insurance costs are so high, is because hospitals are getting away with ridiculous prices! Have you ever been to the emergency room? I have recently, I went with severe abdominal pain & trouble breathing. After an Xray, an EKG, Ultrasound, and blood tests, they determined me to need to have my gall bladder removed. Now, I didn't have the surgery with that hospital. But all that ER visit billed a total of 15,000 dollars. I owe 3,500 of that bill thanks to my insurance. How many of you happen to have that kind of money laying around? Can you imagine if I didn't have my own insurance?! 15,000 dollars?!?! They charge 30 dollars for ONE regular extra strength tylenal. 30 dollars, for one pill. You want to know what's wrong with healthcare?! The highway robbery our hospitals are charging for their services. Fix that, and we won't need this bill at all, insurance costs will drop if medical services cost drops... which leads back to the pharmecudical companies too... There is no ONE answer. ALL of it has to be addressed... and it all goes back to greed.

New York Times Gift Guide for 'People of Color' (Politics Daily)

Dec 15th 2009 2:50PM So this one time, most of those stupid shopping lists are filled with items from Bloomingdales and Nordstroms... ya know, stuff REAL americans who are on the verge of losing homes/jobs/whatever simply can not afford. ANYONE who might have taken offense to not being represented should surely take a step back and realize that these gift guides are merely another way for newpapers/magazines to get money for advertising.

Man sues Bank of America for $1,784 billion trillion (Daily Finance)

Sep 28th 2009 11:36AM This isn't about Bank of America's customer service, or lack there of... This is about some wack job with a frivolous lawsuit. He may have actually gotten somewhere with the courts had he asked for a reasonable amount of money in compensation. But he is demanding more money than the global market has in asset. The funny part about this is that our stupid court system actually had to waste it's time to hear the case. In my opinion, we, as collective Americans, should sue Mr. Chiscolm for compensation in lost tax dollars and court costs. Let him suck on that apple a while.

Rihanna's New Blonde Highlights (Stylelist)

Sep 24th 2009 8:20AM "Finally someone who thinks the way that I do! I think her song "Umbrella" is the lamest song I've ever heard. And I think it even won a few awards. Seriously, I haven't heard really good music since the days of Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, and the Temptations. (Although I must admit there was a time during the 80's when I was crazy about the band Journey. In fact, I still sing at the top of my lungs every time one of their songs happens to come on the radio, ha! ha!)"

Well then either you're not listening to a genre of music that appeals to you these days or you're completely closed minded to new things. Either way, obviously Hip Hop and R&B isn't your thing, But to say there is no good music since... is just stupidity. There are some really great bands out there, all you have to do is open your ears and your minds ~ A DJ

Lawsuit: Catholic Nurse Forced to Assist in Late-Term Abortion (Politics Daily)

Jul 28th 2009 8:14AM Problem is, if we start allowing nurses, who are already short handed in many facilities, to pick and choose the procedures they want to participate in, where is the line drawn? "I don't want to give that man a sponge bath because it's against my beliefs to see a man naked"... I mean, where is the line drawn??? If you don't want to have the possibility of doing certain procedures, don't accept a job at a facility that does them! Simple as that. It's not like there's a shortage of RN jobs in the country.

Hate Speech Finds a Home on the Web (Politics Daily)

Jul 13th 2009 5:22PM Are you people out of your minds?! Nevermind. Don't answer that. Have ANY of you got ANY respect for anyone besides yourselves?! Those kids were thrust into the spotlight. People tore apart Chelsey Clinton, they tore apart Jenna and Barbara, and now they're aiming at the Obama kids. THEY ARE KIDS!!!! Those of you saying "well they attacked Palin's kids" yep, they did, par for the course!! But instead of accepting it, we as a people, as mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, should instead be OUTRAGED that the media or any one person would attack a child like that!! What happened to the days when neighbors would come together to have a street BBQ, what happened to the days when neighbors watched out for the neighborhood children?! People turn the other cheek, no one cares anymore. You all want change?! You all want things to get better in this country. START CARING! Start living your life acting as you would want others to act towards you and yorus.Public figure or not, NO ONE's children deserves to be under such a hateful glance.

President Obama Attacks FOX News (Politics Daily)

Jun 19th 2009 8:23AM There's a reason most people call it FAUX news.

Meghan McCain Accuses Brian Williams of 'Bowing' to President Obama (Politics Daily)

Jun 6th 2009 11:23PM You people are crazy. People shake hands and nod their head like that all the time, and Obama returned the damn head nod too. Get over it. The man is the FIRST African-American President in the history of this nation, yes, people are going to be a bit impressed with him, as they should be. No, I don't think Brian Williams has a shrine to the man in his closet or anything... I really think people read WAY too much into things sometimes. Don't you have anything better to do than to worry about a head nod to the President of the United States of America during a "fluff piece"....

Newsweek Slams Contemporary Country (The Boot)

Apr 16th 2009 9:34PM Oh honey,
If you are to be our "next President", as you signed off, the least you could do is know that your use of "Are" should have been "our". *rolls her eyes* That aside, The youth of today, mind you I'm only 26, could learn a thing or two from the mistakes of the past. You do not turn your back and forget, You remember and learn.

Signed,

Schooled.
