Sure, the mortgage may be cheaper but God forbid anything breaks down or goes wrong...we have spent thousands on just trying to fix and maintain problems in our backyard! Still having issues too! It is like The Money Pit with Tom Hanks and Shelly Long! Thankfully, the inside of the house, with the exception of a badly put together duct system (which we just spent 5800+ to fix)is pretty much ok...but then we have only been here less than 2 years.

This is not about feeling good about ourselves no matter what we look like, this is about getting healthier and getting there by obtaining a healthier, more realistic attitude about the fact that obesity is a HUGE PROBLEM and the people who participated in the study are a perpetuation of this problem. This article is factual and informative. WAKE UP and TAKE RESPONSIBILITY! Obesity is a problem because it is KILLING US! Sorry to hurt your feelings but dont you want to live longer and healthier???

Feb 2nd 2011 5:53AM I was abused as a child by drug addicted parents and I am a mess. I don't do drugs but I elected never to have kids and I have social problems to this day. i am 41 years old and still coping as best I can with this. It is very hard to trust as I could never trust my own parents. My brother wrestles on and off with depression. He is 27. If your actions cause your kids fear and pain then it is abuse. Plain and simple!

I realize in other parts of the world they dont practice freedom of speech but folks, if I banned everyone from my presense who insulted or offended me I would be a very lonely person!!! Oct 4th 2009 7:36PM It seems to me that THIS might be why all these books are banned.....they are "thought provoking". I mean think about it...are our schools set up to teach individuality or does anyone else see a rapidly growing pattern with our school system today that they are trying to ban all free thinking tools. More and more public schools now are adhering to strict dress codes, banning books, including some text books which are not of popular opinion, firing teachers for even saying the words intelligent design or anything remotely like that. I know I feel extremely cheated. My education did not teach me anything about the real world. I would have liked to have been able to learn as much as possible and then decide for myself what seemed logical. But this is just the thing "they" want to avoid by banning reading materials. No one gets to choose for themselves. It is a crying shame!
