Sep 23rd 2011 7:58PM While I hear all the rhetoric and constant cliches about addiction, I don't believe that even a spouse should sacrifice their life for someone who refuses to change or at least actively try to change the patterns of this disease. He has remained married and a steady shoulder for the family to lean on whenever she is stinting and whining. Why isn't she working and doing positive things with her over-pampered life?

He is constantly threatening her that he will take away the child. What is this? This is not parenting this is a nightmare. He needs a real job, lose weight and get a life. She needs to get her life on track - the gravy train will not last forever.
