Straw Poll: Dec. 21 - Jan. 4 {Political Machine Blog}

This is very bad form on the part of a select few networks.
Despite a 59-75% strong showing nationwide in the straw polls, both Fox News and, possibly, ABC, have chosen to exclude GOP candidate Ron Paul from the debates. If the Henhouse News Network drops Ron Paul from the debates, does that make Ron Paul the new Fox?
Groucho Marx was right: "Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly, and then applying the wrong remedies". We can now expand Groucho's elucidation on this subject matter to include America's biased and abusive, corporate, so-called "news" media, as well.

Carla,
You are absolutely correct.
If one would simply examine the legislative records of the then- forty-eight contiguous states of the Union from 1912-1913, one would discover that the XVIth Amendment was conceived in iniquity, born in sin, and procured by fraud by the then-Secretary of State Philander(er) Knox. The IRS Code does not even adequately define "income".
They deliberately do not TEACH this to our children, as it would portend for some measure of change in the future. Shame!!!

Does anyone remember when the You Ass Department of Just Us pulled the precise same stunt during the John Gotti trial in 1992?
Giuliani and the boys we're being out-lawyered by Gotti's attorney, Bruce Cutler. So, what did the fed boys do? Why they simply removed Cutler from the counsel table and the poor-old Teflon Don had to finish his own trial in pro per. Their reasoning? Why they alleged (sic) that Cutler was "in-house counsel" for the Gambino crime family. 'Came the dawn.
Now, why would we expect Fox News to behave with any more integrity than federal prosecutors? The answer is, we don't.

Congratulations, Henhouse News (no, you're not "Fox" anymore), you're trying to ram YOUR choice for president down our throats and we don't like it.

Three cheers for America's biased and abusive news media. A video game? Are these guys stoned or just federal?
The ugly and awful truth of the matter is this: the Establishment media is so scared to death of Ron Paul that they will stoop to the most abject level possible to discredit him; and in so doing, they discredit only themselves.

Well, now, if the Henhouse News Network has dropped Ron Paul from the debates, I guess that makes Ron Paul the new Fox.
Hey, O'Reilly, do I see you spinning?
In the words of Daffy Duck, "You're despicable".

Dec 22nd 2007 8:09PM Re: Republican hopefuls chasing Democrats' Hillary Clinton, marvelous. Now, where is Ron Paul in all of this heady discussion about these Republican "leaders", as it were?
The "polls" say he is at about 4.0%. WHOSE polls? AP? Gallup? Fox News? Certainly not us. These so-called "polls" are biased and abusive as their sponsors.
The ugly and awful truth of the matter is that Ron Paul has actually won each and every televised GOP debate to date and the GOP establishment is too embarrassed to admit it or even back him against the Democrat hopefuls.
As an analogy, this is clearly a case of the Oscars vs. the People's Choice. However, the People's Choice Award does not have to hire a Big Seven accounting firm to conceal the ballots. The "People's Poll" is winning this one hands down and Ron Paul is leading the way.
Pity the losers here come the Iowa Caucus and upcoming primaries. I give my support to Ron Paul for president of these United States.

Does anyone with half a nose smell a set-up?
Is the Communo-Fascist Demopublican Megaparty so frightened of this guy that they have to resort to "dirty tricks" a-la Donald Segretti?
This is deplorable. They think they're so cool and we're so dumb. Check out today's letter in the Arizona Republic.
