Verizon Wireless To Let You Use Any Phone On Its Network (Switched)

Nov 28th 2007 3:49PM All I want is Verizon to let me buy something that I can use to download my camera pics onto my PC so that I don't have to pay them $2 a month for the priviledge of using Verizon to do so. That is my ONLY complaint from Verizon. Their service is EXCELLENT & they've tried to help us in any way with our phones, service, questions, etc. Now EVERYONE can switch & be happy.

BREAKING NEWS: Emeril Live isn't coming back (Slashfood)

Nov 27th 2007 12:19PM When I first started watching Food Network, it was because my mother-in-law raved about Emeril Live. This was back in 1999. He IS a Master Chef, owns scads of restaurants that seemed to be packed EVERY night because of his food & his persona. I love to copy recipes, especially ones that I see on TV & then try to make them at home, structured to the way I EAT, not necessarily the ingredients that the TV Chef uses. I don't cook the way he does...I'd NEVER use his "Essence" spices in MY COOKING + his recipes (look them up) are mostly quite lengthy & sometimes more complicated that a home cook would waste their time making for their family...not everyone does dinner parties every day, Emeril!! His show, although very entertaining, has for me, gotten boring & stale. As one blogger so perfectly said, the "BAM", the "seasoned flour", & the "OOHING of the word GARLIC" does get VERY OLD after 100+ shows. As another blogger put it, the wiping of his nose all during the show & NOT WASHING HIS HANDS + his walking thru the audience at the beginning of every show, shaking all those GERMY hands, & NOT WASHING HIS HANDS before beginning to cook or handle food is also GROSS. At least a pump jar of Purell on the counter that got used whenever this happened would make people want to eat his food after YUCKING them out. He IS a Master, but it's time for the Master to step aside & bring fresh faces forward, like Guy Fierei, Paula Deen, & Rachael Ray (whom I believe is over-used & on their Network way too much). Amy Fennell is a BIG BORE & should NEVER been the winner, yes, she can cook, but I fall alseep during her show because it's too slow-paced & monotone!!
