Behold, the iQueue {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jul 18th 2008 8:45PM Oh, and O2 stores do have some stock, at least in their central london shops. They claim to have significantly more stock next Friday.

Behold, the iQueue {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jul 18th 2008 8:43PM Queue was even longer today - about 50 people.

This is only the beginning of the queue, with seats for about 25 people. The queue continues downstairs (with no seats). While I was there, for about 20 minutes today, the queue only moved about 5 spots. They've got 24 iMacs dedicated to iPhone activation.

iPhone 3G shortage could last for a month {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jul 17th 2008 8:01PM Went to Regents Street, London (UK) store today. Queue of about 40 people, plus 24 iMacs dedicated to signups. Based on 15 minutes per signup, thats perhaps 45 minutes wait. There was queuing space for about 30 more people.

Not sure I want to wait that long, anyone got any theories of what is a good time of day to go?

Probably a few hours trial would be enough for most apps, though some you might want more for... FairPlay can already do that - it does it with rentals...

Top five iPhone gripes {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jul 11th 2008 3:13PM No really I hate it. I can't stop correcting people who say "I" instead of "me" and "less" instead of "fewer" etc :|

Anyway, 's is possessive, not plural... I think if you wanted a possessive plural, it'd be 60s'...

Jul 11th 2008 2:17PM Hate to be a pedant, but you mean "60s" not "60's" :)

Two Apple iPhone apps: Remote Control and Texas Hold'em {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jul 11th 2008 6:25AM The same way they stop you doing that with your music. They use fairplay which limits the apps to a certain number of devices. With music I think thats 5, could be less for apps...
