Apr 10th 2008 10:30PM As if reality TV wasn't already bad enough, now this? They should call this show "Two Giant Egos Under One Tiny Roof" instead. That's a way more appropriate title.

Apr 10th 2008 6:20PM Well Bryan, I believe that the skeptics are the minority here. And who the hell do you think you are to call us crazy? You have no way of knowing what goes on in other people's homes and in other people's lives, and you certainly have no way of knowing what goes on after death. Anything is possible. It hasn't happened to YOU so it must not be real - we must all be crazy. Oh please! Who made you the reigning king of knowledge?
Oh, and for the record....do your research on polls. Regardless of who holds the poll, the numbers are always generally the same: anywhere from one-third to one-half of people believe in ghosts. That's a lot of people. We're not all crazy, dear. We're just more open-minded than you.

What you said made absolutely no sense. You condemned Victoria for simply making a statement (she said she GUESSES that this man will now get an alarm system). You sit there and say that the so-called "liberal courts" won't jail anyone because they're afraid to hurt feelings, but yet, you're backing up Bobby who thinks that these idiots should only get community service. Perhaps you should re-read Victoria's comment...she's the one who wants them to be prosecuted, and from her tone, I'd say she hopes they deserve jail time.
Sounds like you don't even have a clue where you stand on a simple issue like this. I sincerely hope you're not voting in this election, because if you can't even support your own feelings on a simple internet story, I'd hate to see how jumbled and backwards your political thoughts are.

Apr 5th 2008 2:58PM Critical Thinker -
No one has ever been able to present a shred of physical evidence that God or Jesus exist for certain either, but billions of people still believe in them. Are all those billions of people "silly" too? Who knows? Maybe you're one of those people. The fact of the matter is YOU DON'T KNOW FOR CERTAIN what exists or doesn't. But just as people have faith in God, people who have experienced paranormal activity have faith in the afterlife and the existence of spirits. Can you explain everything that happens in the world? I'm guessing your answer is "no," and if it isn't, it should be, because there are things that go on around us everyday that we can't explain. A man wakes up from a coma after 30 years, for example. Can YOU explain that, even though doctors can't? Thus, my point.

Apr 5th 2008 12:13AM I love how the article says for JUST $24,000....JUST? Are you kidding me?? My student loans don't even total $24K! I'll be damned if I ever take a vacation that costs that much! That's just financially irresponsible - regardless of how much money you have!

It's so sad.....people are playing around with demonic things and will eventually get hurt...as in sickness, disease or death. Communication from the dead is not a Godly act and thus, very dangerous.

Hey Glenda, if communicating with his wife is ungodly, then what you do in the bathroom every day is SINFUL. Heaven help us.

Trish and Achillas: It must "go against God" to learn to spell, at least in your narrow, fearful world. People who study the areas of life/living beyond this short, tiny materialistic existence tend to be people of deep faith, in a loving God and a consistent universe. They certainly would never (illiterately, I might add) persecute or condemn thinkers, seekers and skeptics. (By the way, "skeptic" implies not-knowing, or not-yet-knowing; so a true skeptic doesn't say it COULDN'T happen, but they they don't KNOW if it could happen.) Back to the point, you are not helping your "cause" (why aren't you out saving souls, or something?) with your childish tirades. Oops, got to go. Phone's ringing! ;)

Pamela,
I applaud you my dear! VERY well stated indeed!

Apr 4th 2008 4:58PM Ray says:
To begin with, no one can contact the dead, nor can anyone in Heaven or Hell contact anyone on earth. We as humans can only talk to God or Jesus. As God and Jesus can talk to us. No one that dies can become a ghost. No one that dies has even the power to leave their dead body. When Jesus died he didn't have the power to leave His own body. God had the Holy Spirit quicken Jesus' spirit. Then Jesus' spirit rose to Heaven. When we die our spirit is quickened the very same way. We then go to Heaven or Hell. Again, we have no power to decide that we may want to stay around earth for a time due to revenge or whatever other ridiculous reason. We don't have that ability or power to decide this for ourselves. There are no ghost. What there is, are demons ( who were once angels that followed the devil out of Heaven) and the scum sucking devil himself, but again, there are no ghost.

Hey Ray, unless you are God (which I'm certain you are not), I don't think that you have a right to make this statement, because you are in no way certain of this.

Judy, no...my mom actually remarried after he passed away. He was a great man, I wish he was my father, but I didn't get so lucky. :(
