Chris Rock: Returning to HBO This Fall With New Special (BV Newswire)

Jul 26th 2008 5:18PM Racism is alive in America because of people like Chris Rock. Anytime I've seen him on TV, he would always be putting down whites. To me, under the skin, we are all the same and are all God's children. He should stop promoting racism and just be funny.

Neil Young's Entire Music Archive to be Released On Blu-ray (Switched)

May 7th 2008 3:40PM Unles these discs are put out at a cheap price, they will be very expensive just like any other Blu-ray disc. I got to meet Neil after one of his concerts and asked him to pose for a picture with me. It would have taken just a few seconds of his time. Instead he refused and said to me "You've got to draw the line somewhere". When I see this box set and the price tag on it, I will say "Sorry Neil, too expensive, I've got to draw the line somewhere".

Anonymous Group Targets Church of Scientology (AOL Video Blog)

Feb 8th 2008 4:12PM As it says in the Bible, the only way to have eternal life is to believe in Jesus. Read John 3:16. If you are not a Christian and accept Jesus, you will not be with Him in Heaven but someplace much warmer.

Blockbuster Heading for the Dustbins of History? (Switched)

Nov 7th 2007 4:33AM I order movies on line from Blockbuster. There are 2 things I don't like about them. #1: I have 25-30 movies in my queue and almost every one says either short wait, long wait or very long wait. I have complained to them that they don't have enough copies to supply customers what they want but nothing has changed. #2: I don't like it when a company gives you something and then starts taking it away. Every movie I received by mail I could swap for an in store movie. Now its limited to 3 per month. I am not spending more money to get what I was getting before as part of my membership. I'm seriously considering quitting Blockbuster.

CNN Anchor Refuses to Cover Lindsay Lohan's DUI (AOL Video Blog)

Jul 27th 2007 12:06PM If I care what happens to her, I would watch shows like The Insider or Entertainment Tonight. CNN shouldn't mention her at all any more than the CBS Evening News. Good for him.

The Worst Trailers of the Year (Cinematical)

Dec 24th 2006 2:44PM When I go to a movie theater, I always hope there will be lots of trailers so that I will know something about the movies that are coming to that theater. That along with the reviews on Ebert & Roeper help me decide if its worth spending the money. What I hate when I go to a Regal theater is all the ads I have to sit through. It's bad enough to have to see them on TV without having to pay the high price of a movie ticket and have to see them again.

California to ban smoking in cars with kids (Autoblog)

Sep 2nd 2006 1:51AM Second hand smoke kills. A perfect example is Dana Reeve, Christopher Reeve's widow that died from cancer and she never smoked. Protect the children. Inconsiderate parents are forcing their children to inhale smoke. They are innocent and shouldn't be forced to do something that's bad for their health.

Vaughn Is 'Against All Enemies' (Cinematical)

Jul 14th 2006 4:09PM You can say all the nasty things you want about our president and you know what? It still wouldn't be enough!! Say whatever you want about Clinton's personal life but the country was far better off with him as our president. Al Gore was robbed!! He should be the president and we would be a lot better off. I hope that everyone that dislikes Bush will remember that in 2008 when it comes time to vote for a new president. Whoever is a democrat will get my vote. Another Replublican would be like 4 more years of Bush.

Manual windows going way of hand-cranked starter (Autoblog)

Jul 13th 2006 10:40PM No matter what a manufacturer does, there is always going to be someone that is going to complain. I would love to see more things become standard instead of optional at no extra cost. I had a good laugh too about "building character". Time to join the 21th Century!!!

Last week was the least-watched week... ever. (AOL TV)

Jul 13th 2006 6:43AM Last week being the least watched week is no surprise to me. I grew up in the 50's which means there were usually 39 weeks of all new shows, no repeats, and each half hour show had 25 minutes of program. We had only 3 channels but it was all quality programs. I'm glad to see many of them now on DVD. Today, you get 22-24 shows for a season with 22 minutes of program and even though we have a lot more channels, most of these shows are crap. I just watch my few favorites: Smallville, Law & Order, CSI, Criminal Minds, According to Jim. Last season, I thought it was ridiculous of how many times I would be looking forward to seeing a show and it was another repeat. We spent last winter inside the house watching your repeats. Who's going to do the same in the summer? These networks will never learn. I don't mnd watching an old show again on TV Land. It's better than what they are making now.
