Apr 16th 2008 2:09PM I don't know how unusual most people would consider a chinchilla, but for me they are a bit unusual. They kind of look like a mix between a squirrel and rabbit. I have owned a chinchilla for a little over three years and he always seems to be so energetic running around and even jumping off of walls.

Jan 2nd 2008 11:19PM Our family has slowly started replaacing our old bulbs by putting in a a new cfl bulb each time a regular incandescent bulb burns out. My only real problem with them is that their shape is weird so they are no to good for using in chandelers and a few other things. Besides that they are great.

Dec 10th 2007 11:35PM Going into the woods with a gun would be a good idea, but look at a lot of twelve year olds today that don't know how to use a gun. Maybe for them a fixed blade knife would have been a good thing to carry or better yet they should have taken an adult with them. At least the knife would offer some protection or they could just find a sturdy piece of wood to carry with them.
