Nov 3rd 2007 9:14AM yes definitely patronizing-while many elderly people are amazed at these things the general question I get is "how does that work?!" I usually just explain or call in a teen for help-and they understand often better than I do "how"-
I don't understand why people think they need to talk down to seniors-have they not heard "with age comes wisdom?"

Nov 3rd 2007 8:52AM I would think ads would be targeted to the correct demographics and would be based upon the show you were watching so unless you are watching a show that is too adult for your children these ads shouldn't be a probem-however pop up ads on the computer are a problem because they just use key words to set them off and so sometimes pop up in inappropriate places but they can be stopped using your tool bar
