Sep 28th 2010 12:00PM What I don't understand is how Bristol's "indiscretion" is supported by so many people. If she were anybody else's daughter but Sarah's, right-wingers would not be so forgiving. Talk about mixing politics with hate! Remember the hate spewed against the Gosselin woman? She was married; could not get pregnant without intervention; decided to KEEP all the babies because she chose a chance at life for her babies. Plus, the two-faced way she and her mother have talked about the father of Bristol's son when it comes to the media. To me, Sarah and Bristol are media whores pushing a sad situation of a teenage girl becoming pregnant, yet wanting to pretend it didn't happen. It did. Bristol can no longer be a teenage girl... she is the mother of a child. She knew what she was doing to become a mother of a child. Cut me some slack!

I presume you've never used a babysitter and you are probably the world's best parent! Be benevolent! Us normal folks make mistakes, but we certainly are not entitled to judge others.

How can they be reality with all their fancy clothes and make-up, and a camera crew on the ready to film their "true" reality! Give me a break! This is why I (and so many others) have tuned in to USA, TNT, and AMC. Good shows, good writers... these reality shows just gag me... they are so repulsive!

Jul 4th 2010 4:56AM Miley dresses in skimpy outfits? Check tomorrow's (Sunday) paper; look at the ads for Kohl's, Penney's, Macy's, etc. The girls, yes girls, i.e., not women, are wearing clothes far more skimpy and provocative than Miley wears. The Victoria Secret show (which is shown in early evening; the promos for the show are shown throughout the day and young people are exposed to the ads without any warning) and the models are dressed in extremely provocative and skimpy outfits. Is it Miley's responsibility to be a role model for modern day children??? Seems to me, parents should help their children select role models. Why put this parental responsibility on Miley.

On another subject, I was 17 when I was married, and it has lasted for over 54 years. We all choose our path of life. Miley has the same right to choose her path and to follow her dream.

Parents, do your job!
