New In-Car Cam Films Traffic Accidents (Switched)
Jul 25th 2007 6:27AM There are devices in the US that used SD chips/cards. they cost as little as $250, and can record up to 2 hours of video....the larger the sd chip the longer it records.
The only difference is that this unit has an alloy shell. Police cars have been using cameras for years.... certain truck and bus companies have been using cameras to reduce their insurance costs. This technology will be resisted by those afraid of being caught speeding or recless driving. The Unions will hate this. The insurance companies will want it, and the police will do a typical "knee jerk" reaction.
I say.....if you want it....we have it to install today !

Bottle-Fed Baby Porcupine (AOL Video Blog)
Jun 8th 2007 8:11AM I grew up in Monticello N.Y.
We had porcupines all over the area.
They are slow walking, lousy eye sighted, brazen scroungers. They like to eat whatever vegetables you throw out. Many a dog got their fair share of "pine needles" in their nose. contrary to popular belief....porcupines cannot throw their needles.....you have to step on one, brush up against it or get so close that when the "twitch" or make a quick short move they stick you with their needles. The needles are actually sharp hollow quils that are loosely attached.
If you see one, it is safe to watch from a short distance.... and the mothers are great at taking care of their young. Neat animals....fun to watch them waddle along.....

Apr 8th 2007 3:54PM WOW the person who wrote this must have had a really messy divorce. Lets blame men for a persons own problems.
Whatever happened to "taking responsibility for your own actions"? If a person is unhappy with their life, they should try to solve the problems rather then blame all men inclusive. This article is so selfish and shamefull !!
As far as the person who passed coffe through their nose....I would have liked to see that....
Last time I passed coffe through my nose was when my friends grandmother informed his sister that the way to a mans heart was below the belt line.....she was 89 years old and said afterwards....."what are they going to do.....tell me to shut up, how do you think I got twelve children and stayed married for 65 years?"

Angry Dad Attacks Wrestler (AOL Video Blog)
Feb 28th 2007 8:03AM wow - so many people making quick judgments that have nothing to do with the video.
I guess no one bothered to find out what happened!
the father of the wrestler was way out of line....he admitted that in his hearing in front of a judge....he also was a wrestling coach....he saw apotentially dangerous move by the oposing wrestler....the ref called the match at the same time the father pushed the opposing wrestler away.
The father of the wrestler should do public service time of at least 200 hours. He has lost his job as a coach for his schools wrestling team and has been bared from coaching any childrens team sports for a miniumum of 5 years.
get the facts straight before ranting about the NRA, road rage, hunting or any other non related subject!
Sun Visor Theater (Luxist)
Feb 9th 2007 7:50AM I install audio-video and accessories.
There are laws in almost every state that echo the sentiment that live video is illegal for a driver to view while driving. The grey area exixts in the law where GPS Navigation is concerned. Virtually every driver has been distracted by something going on, in or around their car while driving.
The fact is that the visor monitor has existed for more then a decade......we installed a 10.5 inch monitor in the steering wheel of a PT crusier.....the car is a show car....it has won more then 30 trophies.....but ..as I stated it is a show car...not a daily driver. Good judgment and fewer distraction for a driver is a good idea.
Just try to legislate common sense while driving(good luck).

'Sheed's '04 Maybach (And Autographed Ball) For Sale (Fanhouse NBA Blog)
Dec 8th 2006 7:31AM people buy cars for enjoyment or just to feed their ego. I buy cars to use for family and business.
Cars like the maybach are built very well and cost a fortune. Theri use is limited to "look at what I have and you DON'T !" Some one will buy the car so they can say I own Rashid's car !! I worked on a Lamborghini Diablo that was once owned by Mike Tyson.......So what! It is a nice car, and it screams EGO ! Their are "mom's mini van, Dad's truck....and the their is the EGO machine....this maybach is for the EGO with too much money on hand.
Sell the damn car and give the money to chartity!
