Unfortunately, this also holds true with black cats. There is some "prejudice" or superstition that keeps black dogs in shelters longer than their fair-haired counterparts.

Dec 10th 2010 4:12AM If the smaller dog was unleashed, it happens, but if the dog was leashed why wasn't the owner able to control their dog? As the owner of a small dog, I am always on guard around bigger dogs, leashed or not. One owner whose dog tried to attack my dog while they were both on leashes, actually knocked it's owner over, and I saw another dog shake my neighbor's dog like a rag doll. I certainly wouldn't want that dog anywhere near me or my dog after it had killed another dog. One is one too many when it comes to killing. They kill wild animals who kill humans because once they get a taste there is no going back. I support the one strike law.

May 18th 2010 3:02AM I miss Law & Order Criminal Intent the most, but I don't think NBC executives are CAPABLE of making any good decision, given the last 2 years. They canceled Southland without really giving it a chance. The Conan OH YES I CAN REPLACE JAY, SO JUST RETIRE HIM gigantic fiasco. Then they buried L&O on Friday night. When was the last time they made a WINNING DECISION?

May 13th 2010 5:57PM Yikes, I get my hair dyed every few months, but this is scary stuff. I thought the chemicals they use now are much safer than what they used to use. I will probably still dye my hair but I might also consider going back to henna, although it doesn't last as long.

May 11th 2010 2:05AM I have had an ulcer in my esophagus and because my insurance will not pay for Nexium, I've had to get Prilosec OTC when it's on sale and I use coupons to keep the costs down. But even if I miss 1 pill, I am sure to be awake and burning all night. Risks aside, I don't have an alternative.

Jan 21st 2010 8:40PM For what I hope is the last time, let me be clear, JAY LENO DID NOT WANT TO RETIRE EVER. Conan was WHINING about going elsewhere if he didn't get the Tonight show. NBC had just offered to keep Jay has the host well into this decade but there was nothing in writing. AS soon as Conan heard about this, he started WHINING about going to another network. (Of course, in retropsect, they should have let him." Instead they went back to Jay and asked him to give up the Tonight show by the end of the decade. He agreed to, BUT then ABC and FOX reached out to him, because they're smarter than the average NBC exec. In order to keep him with NBC they came up with this new admittedly BAD IDEA. But they should have just let Conan walk in the first place. At no point did Conan indicate that he could successfully host the Tonight Show.
