Darn that sneaky sugar (That's Fit)

Nov 29th 2007 9:30AM Shop the perimeter of the grocery store which is fruits, vegetables, meats & dairy. Stay away from the processed foods like the cereal, cracker and snack sections. I get my cereals and snacks in the health food area of the large food chains or go to my local health food store. More organic, gluten-free and non gmo's foods are showing up at most grocery stores. They tend to be more expensive, but excellent health is worth the price.

Study Finds Link Between Wi-Fi and Autism (Switched)

Nov 21st 2007 8:13PM If we could turn back time, we would be alot happier, if we could turn back we time, we would be a lot healthier! So, slow down, take a breath, learn how to cook homemade meals again. You would see, yes, you could see, we would all be alot happier. I would take back the good old days, no microwaves, cellphones, computers, just a simple life because what I see is getting too complicated. Everyone is somehow screwed up mentally & physically and way too competitive. What is happening to us as a society? Growing up in the 60's was so much better than the garbage dump we live in nowadays. Remember glass milk and soda bottles that were returnable, eggs from the farmer, all groceries came in brown paper bags, popcorn was popped on the stove instead of that gross pop secret. Looked what we let ourselves turn into....ugh, I can puke.

Nov 21st 2007 3:40PM Try going gluten-free. It is really amazing what that ingredient can do to your system. That's what messes up the mind.

Are food additives to blame for hyperactivity in some children? (That's Fit)

Nov 21st 2007 12:07PM Could it be "glu"ten! We are all overdosing on too many dangerous grains.
The three culprits are wheat, rye and barley. It is in everything we eat. A nice and cheap filler for the big food manufacturers. Go gluten-free and see the difference. And, yes, stay away from all the additives and you will get your mind back. I find it unbelievable what is happening to our children and adults with all the sicknesses lately. We need to wake up.

Could straighter noodles help save the planet? (Slashfood)

Oct 28th 2007 9:20PM How about going gluten and MSG free. That is more important than changing your box. Do you think we are idiots to think that a box design will help the planet. General Mills and their co-horts are poisoning us and turning this country into diseased CELIACS!
