Web Site Finds Terry Bull and Other Unfortunate Baby Names (Switched)
Feb 27th 2009 8:59PM i realize that giving a child a name that the world might find strange may be cruel if you leave it to the world to tell the child the meaning of their name . as in" a boy named sue". if you give that child a name and instruct them how to make it work for them in the work place now that's another matter. i have seven children and all of them have recognizable names. i named my daughters after popular songs and they love it ( enough so that they all have chosen it for our dance ) my sons were after historical figures. my oldest son is jesse james and is a pastor and there is a large group that will follow his lead (only for a much better purpose) another son is casey jones and owns a plastering company and is known for being on time and never leaves until the job is finished .my last son is cody graham ( famous surfer ) well he is a surfer for now but studying to be a marine biologist. he's still young. now as for my daughters all are local business women and even with the present economy are still busy. so as the end of the song goes. "its that name that helped to make you strong"

Oct 11th 2008 12:39AM since no one here appears to understand basic accounting let me give you some numbers you might understand. you can promise to tax households earning $250,000 but you can't make it stick. first avoidance is to file seperate returns. you might lose the marriage tax benefit but you won't have to pay the higher tax.taking this to extremes to could have a wife with an income of $249'999.00 and a husband with the same income and you then have a total household income of just under $500'000.00 that still won't be paying the new tax. and for those who own business there are more ways to reduce your taxable income. thats why you pay accountants. closing thought for you to consider is that only about five percent of american households earn this kind of money. now to use the taxes collected from these people to replace the taxes not collected from the larger percentage of the middle class and to increase the intitlments for the lower class is not going to work by any stretch of the imagination especially since these folks can pay good accountants to properly file thier tax forms for them and i'm not refering to the strip mall francise varity but real accounting firms.
as a post thought remember presidents don't pass laws congress passes laws a president can only veto them. so come november 5 when we wake up it won't matter who the president elect is you will still be you and i will still be me.....and it is through our hard work and diligence that we really make this county strong. not some politician who promises that which they could never deliver.

and to margaret the taxes they pay is a fraction of the total fiscal budget .we don,t have a state income tax because it was written into the state consitution long before we were a tourist trap. we pay our taxes in many other ways. just look at your utilities bills and such .you will find you pay fees and reciept taxes and such .there are many hidden taxes you need to look for to understand them
