Neiman's turned my application down because my credit score didn't fit their model. My accounts had been totally current for more than two years.

Neiman-Marcus, however was reported to be teetering on bankruptcy and many of their business accounts were delinquent and vendors hat put them on a cash only basis.

Neimans was able to recover and save it's skin. I was able to recover without their job, and save my own skin.

Oct 7th 2010 10:59PM I absolutely don't believe Playboy would have paid her anything like $5 million to pose. First, that would raise the demands on them from future potential Playmates, and second they would have to sell many times the current number of ads and substantially increase their circulation just to recover the $5 million.

The audited figures for Playboy indicate that its total monthly circulation is about 4 million copies, and that's about where it has been for a long time. Gone are the days when that figure was 8 million.

Finally, it's reasonable to assume that this woman would sell out for a great deal less than $5 million. Consequently, one would reason that this offer as it has been recounted here simply didn't happen.

Sep 28th 2010 10:27PM Two Christmas ago, I bought my wife a Kodak 10.3 mpx MX1063 digital camera from Target. It teplaced a Sony Mavica that we had bought at least 10 years before for about 600 bucks. It used floppy discs.

One would think that since Kodak all but invented the camera, they would at least be able to deliver a reasonably competent digital camera.

This thing and the program that it takes to download the pictures is a total nightmare. It is next to impossible to use, and the instructions that accompanyed it are no more than cryptic. DO NOT BUY A KODAK PRODUCT.
