Derek Lowe Upset With Braves (Fanhouse MLB Blog)

Dec 17th 2009 7:39AM It seems that more and more you hear athletes say "No one made them pay me this much money." And it seems fewer and fewer players actually earn what they get paid. These are ridiculous numbers to pay people playing a game for a living. In most jobs, if you don't earn your salary then chances are you'll be on the unemployment line. Ultimately it's the fans who pay the high cost for these guys to not earn their salary.

Martha Stewart says Kmart is a bad thing (Daily Finance)

Sep 16th 2009 5:29PM Martha Stewart is always looking ahead. The problem is it's all about A.) Martha Stewart and less about the consumer B.) The almighty dollar. No question she is a very smart business woman. The problem with the KMart situation is she shows little class for someone of her stature.

Kathy Griffin Struggles With Surgery, Diet (PopEater)

Sep 5th 2009 12:24PM I hardly think Kathy Griffin is the first comedian to use foul language (think George Carlin), insult religious beliefs (think Jerry Seinfeld), or knock celebrities (think Don Rickles). Can I also throw out some other top comedians who weren't G-rated? Robin Williams, Rodney Dangerfield, Eddie Murphy, John Belushi, Steve Martin. Now,I wouldn't call these guys " biotches"...I guess we only call women that anyways. YOU ROCK KATHY GRIFFIN!!!

Michelle Duggar Chats About Morning Sickness And Her In-House Organizer (ParentDish)

Sep 1st 2009 5:36PM To all of those commenting that it's "wrong" to have a large family...I bet if you looked back in your own family tree you'd find at least one large family. Maybe not nineteen children, but maybe eight, nine, ten? Who's to say what over populating is. If your family didn't "over populate" you more than likely wouldn't be here today.
The Duggar's give back to their community in many ways. And as far as leaving a carbon footprint? If you watch the show you'd understand how important it is to their family to buy second hand items. They teach their family good solid values. They don't let their children plop down in front of a PlayStation or TV for hours on end. They don't let their children out of the house late at night with friends, wandering around doing who knows what. We should have more families like the Duggars.

The Amazing Race 9: Here Comes The Bedouin! (AOL TV)

Apr 21st 2006 2:26PM I can't wait for the episode when Eric and Jeremy get eliminated. They are one of my least favorite teams ever to play on the race ! LIFE-SLACKERS..."hey dude, let's just follow another team.....". I remember in the very beginning when they introduced the teams and they said they wanted to have a million dollars but just didn't want to work for it..... when Eric and Jeremy can't follow someone else, they get lost.
Actually, this round of teams was one of my least favorites across the board. If it weren't for the great locales, I probably could have skippped the episodes up to the finals.
Way to go Fran and Barry! It was nice to see an underdog win something nice for a change.
