Feb 22nd 2008 1:30PM Sorry, I agree with this in some instances. I have a severely retarded daughter. Her, I would sterilize. She obeys any adult and does exactly what she is told to do. Our fear is that one day, someone is going to tell her to take o ff her clothing and have sex. If she trusts the person the least little bit, she will do as she is told. I think a pregnancy would terrify her and the end result would be that my grandchild would either be aborted or given up for adoption. I will be too old to take care of another baby by the time it happens, as she is only 10 years old now. The end results of the pregnancy and goving birth would fracture her mind more than it already is, currently. If I can find a legal way to sterilize her, you better believe that we will do it, for her protection and ours. If the teen is of normal intelligence and understands consequences, they should not be sterilized. They know better and are completely aware of the consequences of sex without protection. That's just my opinion and arguing with me will not change it, so don't bother. Cool breezes and warm wishes.

Oct 27th 2007 1:57AM As ugly as they are, how do the condoms get used? For water balloon fights? Even the desperate girls wouldn't make hay with these ugly things! Can you say Yuck? Ewww! Never in a million years would I look twice at something looking like that; let alone give it a tumble. The one with the socks fetish has a better chance of getting lucky with a pair of those socks they provide. Even that bottle of JD wouldn't make any female that I know of, get in bed with them. Hmmm, maybe they get the girls so drunk they pass out and then take advantage of them. No way they'd do it for love or money. They'd have to be unconscious to let one of those two use one of the condoms provided. And asking for magnum condoms is just their way of making themselves feel good. No way Tubbo and Uglier would need magnum sized condoms. Maybe a teeny weeny size; but that's all. All together now... Yuck!
Nickelodeon tells kids to turn off the TV, go outside and play {That's Fit}
Oct 4th 2007 10:32AM The day off couldn't have come at a worse time for us. Our daughter had just been released from the hospital; having had 2 operations, & she was not able to go outside and play. She wanted very badly to go play outside with all of her friends. It's what they do here, every Satuirday morning in our cul-de-sac. She got to listen to everyone playing and she didn't get to watch any TV. Talk about bored to tears. She was still to ill to do more than just lay there and vegetate, while watching TV. No visitors were allowed. Leave the TV control knobs to the parents. We know how and when to turn them off and when and how to safely send our children out to play. Nothing but publicity for Nickelodeon and getting people to talk about them to raise their ratings; which in turn raises their advertising revenue. They can charge more for the commercials that are geared towards our children and our wallets. Want to do something special for children? Have a marathon for children to run in, and they can raise money for their favorite charities. That will get them outside training and playing instead of watching TV. Oops, forgot. You only want the TV off one day a year, don't you? Leave parenting to parents and TV to television executives. They two are not mutually compatible.
