Jul 24th 2010 10:46AM Am I the only one who remembers that David Prowse leaked key plot points to 'Return of the Jedi' prior to the film's release???

From what I understand, they originally shot the Anakin reveal scene with Prowse, then the leak occurred, and Lucas took the time and money to call back Hamill for a RESHOOT with a different actor for that pivotal scene - as payback to Prowse for the leak.

I was only 12 when ROTJ came out, but I remember reading about the leak by Prowse in newspapers and magazines, as well as being covered on t.v. shows like Entertainment Tonight.

It's mentioned briefly in David Prowse Wikipedia entry, and ironically, I didn't find much about it on the internet... but it happened!
