I noticed my card was expiring and I did not get a replacement card. I called Chase, who stated as of the end of the month, my account would not be "renewed". Therefore, they just converted my credit line into a personal loan, at 15.99%.

Never missed a payment, never late. Well, until now, since I will stop paying on this card since it is no longer useful as a "credit" card.

If I wanted a personal loan, I would have sought out one with a lower interest rate.

Breach of contract is what I say.

Jun 17th 2009 12:07PM You people are funny arguing with the results of a fairly scientific study. Those who comment and say their drink was spiked should be able to support it with a toxicology test. If not, WHY? Remember, 100 people thought the same as you, and 0 were right.

But, what I don't understand is why people would think this is the waiter's fault and should take it out of his tip. Unless he is also the owner or sets the prices, it's not his fault.

Jul 31st 2007 7:09PM It should be considered offensive to woman that if he were a rapist, his punishment would probably be less severe. The insensitivity in the statement is due to its factual nature, and it hits a chord. Sometimes people don't want to hear the truth.

Unfortunately, in the baby-boomer-can't-hurt-anyone's-feelings world we like in today, he'll lose his job.
