by the way, a guy in Florida got TEN YEARS for violating his probation and lying to the judge. The crime he was on probation for happened eleven years ago when he was a teenager. Lindsay got off just fine.

Jul 13th 2010 10:54AM BEST chocolate cake anywhere can be found at the Cracker Barrel. It's the only thing on their menu that is remotely edible and it's made with Coca Cola. It's absolutely the best chocolate cake I have ever eaten.

Jun 29th 2010 7:39PM I have absolutely no problem with the Duggar's belief that god will give them all the children that "HE" wants them to have, and that taking the pill or using modern medicine in any way to prevent pregnancy is the equivilant of not accepting god's gifts. It's a free country.

What doesn't sit right with me is that there is a tiny, tiny baby hooked up to all advances of modern medicine to keep it alive for six months! I'm certaintly not advocating pulling the plug, but the Duggar's seem to pick and choose what they call god's will and what they will use modern medicine to "interfere" with.

What if this last baby wasn't meant to survive and it's god's way of telling them that times up? Isn't that interfering with god's plan also? Doesn't the lord giveth and he taketh away. Where's the follow through on these beliefs? I would think they would be advocating for little or no medical help so God could decide if the baby was meant to stay here or go to heaven.

Apr 3rd 2010 6:34PM Your husband should definately look into the trade schools in your area that have specific programs for adults. He may even be able to get life experience credit and finish quickly.

I am 40, have 15 years of retail management experience and have been unemployed since August. I have decided to go back and finish my bachelor's degree (I have 88 credits) in Human Resources this year. I am fortunate that I have a family member who will let me live with them rent free so I can finish as quickly as possible. The way I see it, I am going to be working for the next 25 to 30 years, I have been performing HR duties for years anyways, I might as well enjoy the work that I am doing and get a Monday through Friday job as a bonus.

As a reality check for your husband, looks count and the older we get the harder it gets. He should take the time he's putting in for education to get in shape, dye his hair, whatever it takes to look energetic, bright and healthy so when he walks into those interviews next year, the focus is on what he will bring to the business, and not on his age.

I have already lost 30 pounds with 30 more to go, feel great and when I finally graduate and start interviewing again, I'll be ready to knock them dead. Good Luck.

Apr 1st 2010 8:06PM I live in an area where there are a lot of women who wear only skirts because of religious beliefs. I see them walking for exercise a lot wearing those workout skirts pictured. They look fine and appear to be very comforatable. Unfortunately my thighs still touch and till they don't, I'll be wearing leggings or bike shorts.
