Queen Guitarist Didn't Know Freddie Mercury Was Gay {Spinner}
Dec 23rd 2008 9:22PM Freddie could sing four octaves with power and clarity and perfect pitch. There will never be another voice like that. The fact that he was gay means nothing except to narrow minded bigots and what do they know about music anyway?

Sep 17th 2008 8:25AM He sold us out in Viet Nam 40 years ago. Why do people think he wouldn't sell out his country for personal gain again now?
Woman files $54m lawsuit against Best Buy for losing laptop {Engadget}
Feb 23rd 2008 4:30AM Under no circumstances shall Best Buy, Geek Squad, and/or its third-party service provider be liable to you or any other person for any damages, including without limitation any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, expenses costs, profits, lost savings or earnings, lost or corrupted data, or other liability arising out of or related to the services provided by Geek Squad and/or its third-party service provider or out of the installation, de-installation, use of, or inability to use your computer equipment, hardware, peripherals, or the network as a result of the services provided hereunder.
This woman had tax returns for herself as well as other clients with their social security numbers and other sensitive materials. The "warranty" you have posted does not include items covered by the "Privacy Act" and Best Buy had an obligation to keep that information safe. Best Buy allowed that employee to steal that information resulting in "Identity Theft" which is a felony. Your warranty as stated does not cover "Identity Theft" and therefore Best Buy is liable to the lady as well as her clients whose Identity was stolen!

Woman files $54m lawsuit against Best Buy for losing laptop {Engadget}
Feb 14th 2008 5:05PM The article mentions the fact that her laptop contained tax returns for numerous people. She is liable for their privacy and if their identity is stolen she will likely be sued. This isn't limited to her own personal information. Best Buy broke the law and then lied to her telling her the laptop was in their repair shop in Kentucky and that they had just ordered to power switch. I'm surprised they didn't order her another laptop to go with it and then say, "do you by chance have a backup of your data that we can use?". I hope she's awarded every cent of the $54 Million! I hate liars which is why I don't do business with Best Buy. That plus when they advocated sticking the tazor in the baby carriage because they "thought" someone had stolen $85 worth of merchandise. I guess that's all a baby's life is worth to Best Buy, $85! You Go Lady! Take the liars down!
Diana Ross: Booed At Air Jamaica Jazz Festival {BV Newswire}
Jan 28th 2008 7:35AM I used to work for a company that her brother also worked for. He said she would have nothing to do with her family, not so much as sending them a Christmas card because she was "so much better than them". I used to love her music growing up in the 60's but after hearing that from her own brother and hearing news reports about her behavior at airports I won't even listen to her music anymore. She's now just a wrinkled old beootch!
Fox News Host Jokes About Heath Ledger's Death {News Bloggers}
Jan 27th 2008 12:10PM John Gibson should be fired immediately. Don Imus was fired for his insults towards a "living" rugby team who were able to defend themselves. This just shows how low the Republican biased Fox Network will stoop. There is no excuse for disrespecting the deceased, especially without benefit of facts. Fox should be fined/censured by the FCC. I wish Heath Ledger's family would file a $500 Million dollar defamation suit against Fox!
Some Digital Photo Frames Sold at Best Buy During Holidays Contain Virus {Switched.com}
Jan 25th 2008 9:00AM I read an atricle recently where Best Buy was applauding the police for sticking a tazor into a baby carriage because they thought the father may have stolen something worth $85. I sent Best Buy an email asking how their General Mgr. could applaud such a horrible & potentially deadly act to occur but they replied that they were "to busy to reply". I don't shop there and won't. Best Buy sucks!
Some Digital Photo Frames Sold at Best Buy During Holidays Contain Virus {Switched.com}
Jan 25th 2008 8:49AM I wouldn't be surprised if Best Buy did this intentionally so that people would have to bring in their equipment (not just picture frames but PC's) so that their friggin "Geek Squad" could charge you a fortune to remove the virus.
Hasselbeck Hatches {TMZ}
Nov 11th 2007 6:40AM Elisabeth, take your time at home with that kid. The View is much better without you! In other words, keep your lame _ _ _ home with your 3rd string QB! The sad thing about this story is that you'll be teaching your values of "hate" to that child. That's the really sad part. Some people have no business being parents!
