Sep 2nd 2011 12:12PM Well Karyn why did you have to redo the kitchen? Being married in 1962 we owned a mobil home 10/50 because of my husbands job we moved it around to different parts of Calif. We couldn't buy a washer and dryer from Sears or get a credit card in 1965, that is how tight they were on giving cards out. When we bought our house in 1972 for the large sum of $19,000 we borrowed money from my dad for the down payment and took over the $60 a month house payment. The whole house was a mess, and we fixed up the 2 bedrooms and bathroom, and painted the ranch style kitchen. We lived in this 2 bedroom 1 bath house with our 1 child, until 1983, when we borrowed $15,000 to build a new living room, bedroom and bathroom. The interest on this loan back then was 15%. People back in the 60's and 70's didn't go overboard in keeping up with the Jone's. I don't think people will learn much from this $500,000 housing trap, new vehicles, trips, etc. Just charge it. votmOUT

Jan 27th 2011 5:21PM I think the food should be irradiated. Just look around you at the grocery store, and how much food sitting the shelves and is destroyed everyday. Millions of people in this country are going without food, it is certainly better than starving. You can hardly find a loaf of bread under $4.00 unless it is 4 days old and you get it home and it's moldy in 2 days. Just sickening that people think irradiated food is bad for them? Where can we find a store that only sells radiated food in Southern Calif. Somebody start one. Vote-M-Out

Jul 17th 2010 8:17PM We'd buy a robot to lift my mother-in-law out of her chair, into her wheel chair and into the toilet, then to bed. We've been taking care of her for almost 3 yrs after she broke her ankle and now she's turning 89 yrs. old. I'm telling you it ain't fun. Constant care or to the home and that costs $4,000 to $5,000 a month if you have prop in the U.S. Can we go to Baja and find someone to come in and live with us???If you commit a crime you go to prison at tax payers expense, but if you or your relative fought in all the wars, you get a kick in the butt. May 7th 2010 2:14PM I heard Bernie Goldberg on O'Reilly last Monday night, If in this country illegally, if asked for some form of identification after being stopped for running a red light, car looks like one reported stolen, speeding, no headlights on, etc., Listen to this THEY AREN'T BEING SENT TO THE GAS CHAMBER, THEY ARE GOING HOME! Or we could put them on a bus going straight to San Francisco, or the catholic church in Los Angeles, and they can put a roof over their heads, pay for their education, pay the hospital anchor baby bill for them, and see how long it takes for that stupid mayor to be run out of town, maybe to Mexico with Sharpton. By the way, why is it with the black unemployment record, they don't go after Shartpon and uneducated Jesse Jackson for supporting boycotts to keep criminals in our country? 40 million unemployed in this country and we have 20 million illegals. Should 'Mad Men' Really Chase After More Emmy Noms? (AOL TV)

Apr 3rd 2010 3:13PM When a show is on ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX network they tape shows about 24 shows. The HBO and AMC networks only tape 8 shows and then you have to wait months for another show. What do the actors and writers do during hiatis? You are unable to really get interested in these characters. Deadwood never did come back and we waited for ever to see these people again. Soprano's ended stupidly, and Big Love does seem to have more episodes, but not enough. I'm thinking of cancelling HBO as there is now only "The Pacific" WWII to watch for a few more weeks? When Frazier was on network station's, we had that show to watch all during the winter months, and we never missed one, LIVE OR RERUN. So we don't really get the idea AMC and HBO have with all these different programs, can't get interested and don't have the patients for it. Vote-M-Out Nancy

Mar 2nd 2010 11:29AM The Hilton Corp, Indian Casino's,Trump or McDonalds should be buying the Spelling, Helmsly & Kluge "Hotel's" and renting out the rooms, have unemployed American CITIZEN staff & unemployed American CITIZEN men & women working on the grounds, etc. Have horseback riding, cookouts, and trips into the city for shopping. Just like on a stupid cruise ship, which are poluting the ocean, WHERE IS AL GORE??? This is a jobs idea the 7 hr Washington blah,blah,blah meeting for so called medical coverage could have been discussing. Have you ever watched House Hunters on tv, where stupid people out of their element young spoiled couples are out looking for a home. It has to have 4 to 5 bedrooms, 31/2 baths, walk-in closets, granite on the cabinet tops, and a pool and spa, and thier budget is around $500 to $600??? And and you think Yah they are the people who's house's are being repo'd. Other fix up your house shows on DIY network to tear out your "wah, wah, wah old bathroom", after it all it has pink tile on the walls, and it has to go!! Feb 25th 2010 2:54PM While the camera's are watching, they should be clicking on the tag's that are on the rear of the vehicle. I used to work for the records dept at a Sheriff's station, entering stolen veh's, clearing them when recovered, etc. I can't ride down the street without looking at the date of the sticker on the back of a vehicle. I see some that are 1 1/2 yr old sticker on the vehicle. No wonder the state is broke, and we have to pay more to get the sticker for our vehicles. Sometimes I write down the lic, car, date, place, etc., and send it to the highway patrol. Don't know if it works or not, but as the illegal aliens are driving around on our dollars, we get sick of paying for everyone else. Vote-M-Out Nancy
