Muffle the noise so much that it slowes them down by 2--30 MPH? Have to put signs all the way around the track reminding people that all the have to do is blame NASCAR and sue them for millions for impairing their hearing? What a crock! Who doesn't know that horse power is very loud? And Racing isn't racing without horse power!

Jun 15th 2010 6:35PM It was not in Mexicali, it was 50 miles closer and the epicenter was in Ocotillo, California. That is 20 miles west of El Centro. True it was a mild one. But at a ball game if the shock would have been worse people would panic and run anybody moving slower, down. It's damned small of you to refer to us,.. as "Wooses." People out here have heard time and time again that the "Big One" is over due, so you will forgive a person for being a little alarmed when we first feel it. We never know how bad it will get.
