Review: 2011 Buick Regal CXL (Autoblog)
Nov 11th 2010 2:37PM Regal is quite the right name as this is just another badge engineering job gone wrong. And it was intended to be a Saturn before GM failed. All GM had to do was import the Opel/Vauxhal model and change the name plates to have a winner, instead they give us this, a weanier. Sorry, GM has not changed. Where is the all wheel drive, the turbo V6 and the station wagon not to mention the hatchback? And for Gods sake could it come in colors?
Is it a bit sinful to charge your car during the day? [w/video] (Autoblog Green)
Aug 26th 2010 8:35AM Nucs operate at night, not coal. Baseload is now Nuc. Only where there is no Nuc does coal run for the market at night. That said, when OB makes all of us drive these everreadys it will not matter as the system will require all gens to run to charge the cars.
Quick Spin: 2011 Tata Nano CX - Driving the world's cheapest car (Autoblog)
Jul 23rd 2010 4:29PM Please give credit where due, TATA wanted to put Indians on the roads with some safety and has done so, fewer families on motorbikes, 5 or 6 at the same time. In his country he should be a hero. We need to understand India like R.Tata does. Got to love this man, the Henry Ford of India, more power to him.
Next-gen PT Cruiser imagined despite car's demise (Autoblog)
Jul 18th 2010 7:45AM I put 110k on my PT and loved the car. It never gave me any problems and drove much better and was much tighter then my current HHR. I also loved the utility of the hatch and removable rear seats for hauling large items. Since I had the base version the price was in line with the finish of the interior with worked just fine for me. I would have loved a coupe version , a sedan delivery, and a pickup to round out the line. I cannot fault the car for the price.
For a road car, I rely on my Jag.

Report: EcoBoosted Ford Mustang not in the cards... for now (Autoblog)
Mar 25th 2010 11:15AM Cooler heads or 16 year old males? Reducing the weight on the front end and not giving up any HP could be a real boost (pun intended) for the Stang. It is a pig in weight for a car it size, dropping a couple of hundred pounds would be a great thing. Improved handling would be a freebe. Of course, handling for most Stang owners is how much of their parents tire budget they can leave on the pavement.
