Indian Trader Loses Life Savings to Termites {Asylum}

Apr 12th 2008 7:14AM this story stinks, I find it hard to believe that the bank itself would still be standing by the time termites started infesting lock boxes. Formosan termites are voracious eaters but the structure affords them protection and so they would keep cotained in the wall voids, subterranean termites build mud tunnels and have to return to the soil regularly, Unless this fool actually put termite eggs in with his money the situation sounds implausible

Are Gross-Out Anti-Smoking Ads Necessary? {News Bloggers}

Mar 18th 2008 7:20AM Krautnabe, you don't exactly sound like "a former mental health professional" threatening violence and throwing a hissy fit.

Actually you sound a bit more like a former patient

I don't smoke but I respect the right of people to be as stupid as they wish.

Because if folks like you have their way SWAT teams will descend on my weekend barbecues instructing me to "Step away from the red meat" while snipers target the salt shaker in my hand.

I don't need the government or you telling me what's good for me.

Motorola Looking to Exit the Cell Phone Business {Switched.com}

Feb 3rd 2008 6:15AM actually it's about time motorola has made crap for a lot of years now. Overpriced fragile as hell and just generally a bad product

Archbishop Rips Rick Majerus for Support of Abortion Rights, Stem Cell Research {AOL Sports Blog}

Jan 22nd 2008 4:09PM I work for a japanese company, but I still think pearl harbor was wrong. The coach is entitled to his opinion, I'm with him on choice against him on Clinton, oh and I'm Catholic

Top 11 Celebrity Blogs {Switched.com}

Jan 20th 2008 7:18AM who does rosie's publicist pay at AOL, that we are constantly bombarded with her latest twisted opinons? It doesn't make the mainstream press for a reason..........no one cares

Vick's Prison Sentence May Be Shortened {AOL Sports Blog}

Jan 6th 2008 8:30AM interesting logic dwight, apparently you've forgotten that black people used to be considered "livestock" and were frequently treated the way Vick treated those animals. You would think that would make a person more compassionate not less. BTW if it turns out that a blond, blue eyed white male commits the same crime he should serve every day that Vick was sentenced to and then some. ifr it turns out that he is a celebrity rely on the public for his income he should lose everything he has as well

Vick's Prison Sentence May Be Shortened {AOL Sports Blog}

Jan 6th 2008 7:34AM Anybody who is under the misconception that felons get a second chance in this country needs to do more research. The NFL is the exception rather than the rule. The mere presence of ANY felony (bad checks, trespassing on a construction site, drunk drivng etc.) often has the effect of a life sentence banning you from owning a business, working as a barber, being a JANITOR in a public school system.
I personally think Vick desrves to serve everyday of his sentence and be banned from professional sport forever. (I also think child molesters deserve the death penalty) but maybe it's time we looked at expunging felony records for non violent offenders and welcomed them back to society

Baggy jeans get family arrested {Styledash}

Jan 3rd 2008 9:40PM Perhaps Floridians are slow but most of us have enough sense to keep our pants on and many of us actually know the difference between "there" and "their".

We've all seen the commercials and now Alexis and the fool in the story have proven it true "a mind is a terrible thing to waste"

'Tubby Tax' on the way for obese travelers? {That's Fit}

Nov 15th 2007 10:33PM I love the idea of a separate section for people with children, after a three hour flight with some of your little "angels" I'm practically praying for a terrorist attack to grant me the sweet release of death. Perhaps since smoking is not allowed we can separate the sections into "shrieking" or "nonshrieking" and if it works out with planes maybe restaurants can be next

Funeral Not a Good Enough Excuse for Vikings {AOL Sports Blog}

Nov 10th 2007 9:05AM I don't really follow the vikings and now I'm glad. Seems to me that football is only a game and here we have team management elevating it above the american family itself. I honestly believe the league should step in on this one and slam the vikings hard. This young man showed a strong sense of family values and he has my admiration and respect for it. God Bless you son and I'm terribly sorry about your loss
