Apr 22nd 2010 5:27PM Call me crazy or call me lazy, but I just check the news at the end of the day to see how the draft went. Sitting there like a TV-hypnotized meat-puppet, listening to analysts drone on and on all day about who's likely to be picked next just seems a lot like watching grass grow.
Apr 22nd 2010 5:07PM Do you know anything about the history of the NFL draft, Bill? The team that owns the #1 pick can negotiate and sign a contract in advance of the draft with whatever player it wants to take with that pick. It's a common practice. The second Washington were to obtain the #1 pick in trade, they'd be free to negotiate with their impending choice.
Apr 1st 2010 3:58PM If widdle Shaun is too bloody stupid to know he's packing a gun, maybe widdle Shaun shouldn't be allowed to play wif guns any more.
Mar 10th 2010 4:55PM Wow, w8anders, that's a lot of stupidity packed into one post. IIRC, Starr didn't retire until after Lombardi died. And the only coaching Lombardi did after he left the Packers was a brief stint with a bottom-of-the-barrel Redskins team and he was terminally ill.
Jan 11th 2010 2:21PM I'm not a fan of either team. The facemask was BEFORE THE CHANGE OF POSSESSION. Therefore, the penalty gives Green Bay the ball and a first down. Refs blew it and they weren't about to nullify that AZ TD. They probably wanted to get out of the stadium in one piece.
Dec 24th 2008 3:33PM Brian's right. An MCSE cert is just that: a certification. It's not Microsoft employment. It's too bad there isn't some sort of certification or IQ test to write articles for AOL or Switched.
Nov 15th 2008 2:49PM As a Raider fan since 1970, I say let the franchise sink under the weight of Al's ego. No bailouts from the league. Only when Davis dies, relinquishes control of the team, or has the franchise revoked by the league will the Raiders stand a chance. Al was a football genius thirty, forty years ago. Now he's just a doddering old egomaniac who listens only to the suckup sycophants he's surrounded himself with. He's blinded by his own hype and he places himself above the success of the team. He micromanages the team, never letting a head coach BE head coach, but he doesn't have the guts to actually step up and be the head coach because then he wouldn't have any scapegoats. He's an idiot, a bully and a coward. Let this franchise's crash-and-burn be Al Davis' ultimate legacy.
Oct 14th 2008 4:45PM All in fun? I can't wait for the mock gang-rape. That should be a real hoot. The cheerleaders were just being incredibly dumb kids, but that idiot principal should never be allowed on a school property again.
Sep 30th 2008 5:04PM Oops! There are a few itty-bitty typos in the title. It should read, "Tom Cable is the Next Oakland Raiders Scapegoat for Al Davis' Megalomaniacal Ineptitude." Just die, Al. Please, please, PLEASE DIE.
Aug 22nd 2008 3:20PM Physically, she's gorgeous. It's the way that she's conducting her life after the bad news that makes her beautiful.Greg and David are fugly to the bone. It's a wonder that they manage to type their posts with those big white hoods over their heads.
