Murder-Threat E-Mail Scam On the Rise In 2008 (Switched)

Feb 11th 2008 9:07PM I received the death threat email last week. I did feel it was spam but when I read it it was scary. I reported it to the local police here and they put it in the local newspaper. Mine was the first case in our county. The next day the sheriffs office called and said the TV news wanted me to go on TV and talk about this. I felt that I did my job getting the story out there to warn others. I would feel terrible if some one had a heart attach while reading this garbage. These people in foreign countries are trying to get our money. And once they get money there isn't a darn thing we can do about it. I also emailed AOL but I never got a response from them.

Smoking Bans on Cruise Ships Cost Millions in Cancellations (Gadling)

Sep 9th 2007 11:04PM I am and ex smoker after 40 years. I do feel that smoker have rights too. I think on ships they should keep it the way it was that smoking is allowed on one side of the side. This way everyone can be happy stay on your side. I went on cruise and I didn;t mind doing that. I do agree that no one should somke around children. When I smoked, I didn't know how it could harm my children and I wish we could have know that back then. I would not think of smoking around a baby or any children or anyone who couldn't be near smoke. I did find that many people were just mean to smoker and did it out of spite. To those kinds I blew it in their face. I have sat with people that asked me not to somke for their health and in a nice way. At the end I always asked if anyone would objet to my smoking. Some said yes and other no. I respected that. In fact at time I like going outside and hanging out with the other smokers. I miss that now. I did enjoy it but knew I had to stop or it would kill me. I am off them 6 years now and it is the hardest thing I ever had to do. After 6 years I no longer walk behind smoker and smell this smoke and enjoy it. I did that for a long time. Now I can say it doesn't bother me to not smoke and I am getting to the part where I dont like the smell. But I still think that those who want to do it should be allowed. Ships should do like hotels and have non smoking rooms. I don't want to see anymore of our rights taken awasy.
