Mar 4th 2011 11:30AM Wow, what year is this? In a perfect world, every person who is having a baby out of wedlock would be married. Is this a perfect world? Hardly. I am an Elders wife, and I teach Sunday School, have for almost 20 years. You would think I would be the first one to yell...MARRY THE GIRL!! But, I'm not.

The thing is, what truly is the big deal in her case? Is she happy? Yes. Is she glowing with the idea of having a baby in her life and also GIVING life? Hell yes, you can see it in her eyes. And, if she wants the baby, and loves the baby, and it is HER baby...then let HER have it. If at some point she wants to marry, well that is her decision, not yours...not mine

I think, as adult people, we need to sit back and let others run their own lives, and worry more about how our OWN lives are turning out. If we put all that work judging others into our own lives, maybe the world wouldn't be so bad. And before you ask, yes I am married. 35 years. But that's me...I wouldnt ask others to do what I did. It's called a choice.

Feb 10th 2011 6:49AM Wow, I always wondered what happened to that baby in the photo. I see it everywhere. Finally a story on AOL that really had some heart to it. Congrats aol, you did a great job.

This article actually made me tear up, we don't realize how fast time marches on until something like this. 17 years, just like that. Everyone needs to start living for the moment, and living well, time stops for no one. errrrr, unless your God...I guess THEN time would stop for you. But, since I'm NOT God, although the other day my sister told me I acted like God, I still can't stop time. What were we talking about?

And if you did something horrible, and you paid your dues...wouldn't you want another chance to prove you've learned your lesson? Just because you aren't asked to recieve millions for your job...doesn't mean some people can't have that. I would hope that when I went up to God at the end of my life, that He would say, Yes, Mary...you are forgiven because you forgave others.....Would make my eternel life a lot better then Him saying...If you can't forgive others, how can I forgive you?

Nov 16th 2010 11:36AM lol Ok, I know I've been married for like 35 years to my college sweetheart, and yes we have watched so many football games together it's not even funny. BUT, last night...that game was by far the COOLEST thing I have even seen. I could NOT believe what I saw! It truly was a work of art. I think my husband enjoyed the game more then the homemade cookies I make him every Monday night for the game!! I know I did!!

Feb 12th 2010 3:59PM So sad, it's just everything is for "the show". They have these races for one reason only. To be the best. To stand on that step and say to the world..."my country is the best!!" And how do you do that? You break records. So, if last time the record was 9omiles an hour, "well...lets push it boys...we need ratings...lets make it 93 miles an hour." And, as sad as that is...that is the bottom line. Go fast...break records. If the people who built those tracks cares on little bit about the people who had to race down them, they wouldn't be mourning this young man today. Rest in Peace Buddy...and may your family find peace as well.

Jan 26th 2010 11:52AM Ok, I realize i have more important things in life to worry about than Brad and Ange...but, I am disappointed. I was hoping they would be the ones to make it. I guess people now a days don't base their marriage on what can I do for YOU, it's more like...Ok, Im crazy about your body, lets get married. THAT part of a marriage cools in about 10 years, and what do you have left? You can't base a marriage on sex. And to me, that seems to be what a lot of these hollywood people do. Anyways, I was just hopin' they would make it. All those kids....it's sad. Maybe if they tried, they could work it out. At least try. And, to tell you the truth, I feel in my heart that if you wanted ALL those kids, then damnit, stay together until the last one walks out the door and leaves for college. That is the least you could do for all those kids. Keep your damn family together. Idiots.

She walked up to me and said.."Remember who you are Mary...What you make of yourselve at this early age in life is what you will be as an older adult. You want to be all big and bad...then you will find that your values in life are gone as well. So get that mouth under control...and remember you are what you make of yourself." sigh...Now at 53, I wish this young man had my mom to tell him that exact thing. I love you mom...and my values are right where they belong. Thank you.
