Woman Claims She Was Fired by TSA for Being a Wiccan (AOL Travel News)

Mar 29th 2011 7:41AM Blessed Be:

This is a primary reason why books about Wicca have to be moved from the occult section to the religion section.

The firing is insane and unfounded and to the judge ... how long is too long when a person's livlihood is compromised for ignorance?

Maybe we should put a stake out in front of the State House and start the burnings again?

This CBS holiday promo from 1966 would never be done today (AOL TV)

Dec 7th 2009 6:46AM Simple - joy - through music!

I don't celebrate it but there is a holiday called Christmas celebrated by millions of Christians around the world.

Just like we would not play a polka to celebrate St Patty's Day or the Tarantella for 4th of July, it is about time we stop with creating more wedges between people by refusing to recognize the fact that we should rejoice at the fact that so many people are happy at this time of year.

Brightest Blessings to all of you regardless of how you celebrate - may you find enough peace in your heart to enjoy the joy available at this time of the year and every day thereafter.

Michelle Obama Wears Shorts (Stylelist)

Aug 19th 2009 7:24AM She is youn g enough. She is fit enough. Why not allow her to dress properly for a casual vacation, especially in the weather situation she is photographed in?
Only thing is she does not represent the American woman - most of us are too fat to pull off that outfit and look classy as the First Lady looks.

Writer Kinda Apologizes for Fat Remarks in Scathing JCPenney Article (Stylelist)

Aug 14th 2009 7:04AM Size 2 - rather unhealthy wouldn't one think/ I guess it is a perfect excuse for writing and releasing an item like that (See there is a reason for editors ... where are they when you need them?) when you don't feed your body, you don't feed your brain.

May not be what a small group of underweight people need but it suits the rest of America ...

Should Health Officials Have to Be Healthy and Trim? (Lemondrop)

Jul 20th 2009 8:36AM Well - if one's weight determines one's ability to do a job we are going to lose half of the politicians - a good many physicians - and many opinion givers.

Get a Free Day off -- Claim an Obscure Religious Holiday (Asylum)

Mar 24th 2009 8:19AM Thanks for at least acknowledging Wiccan as a religion - the library still has it listed under occult.

A Question for Hillary Clinton (Politics Daily)

Nov 12th 2007 12:26PM Used to be an old car salesman's joke but it fits ....

How do you know when a politician is lying?

Their mouth is moving.

InstaPollAmericaNow? -- In the Eye of the Beholder (News Bloggers)

Jun 13th 2007 9:45AM I looked at this ad everyday in the subway on the way to work. Last evening someone pointed out to me the rumor about the WTC in the eyes .... I didn't see it and I still do not see it.

As someone who watched the towers come down and as someone who knew someone who perished on 9-11, I have to add that we can see what we want in near any photo .... I think that this is taking matters a little too far ....

Best Free Stuff on the Internet (Switched)

May 17th 2007 6:52AM I had Vistaprint do free business cards for me several years ago - I used them to attach to queries. It is easier for the recepient to keep than the entire letter.

Based on my positive experiences with them I have purchased other items - most recently calendars with my personal photos featured on a monthly layout ... compliments came from every recepient - even the professionals.
