Dec 20th 2009 9:46AM I was Susan's flatmate in Glasgow several years ago...she became obsessed with "developing a distinct talent", as she put it....she had received a biography of "Le Petomane" for Christmas, the story of the French flatulent who could sing, blow water, talk etc. out of his ass, and you could see the little light bulb go off....she excitedly told me, "If he can do it I can do it!...after all I'm a Scot!"....so she began to practice diligently after work, hour after hour, day after day, to the point of exhaustion...Susan is very tenacious after all, as anyone who knows her can attest...eventually she became able to "sing" little short tunes, make a dog-like barking sound, and form the word "hello", with which she would greet people....she ultimately became very discouraged and sad, because people would either burst out laughing or make puzzled and slightly disgusted faces....she tearfully told me, "No one is taking my art seriously, and after all this work"....that's when she decided to switch to singing, and the rest as they say is history...

Dec 8th 2009 6:14PM I remember when Beck used to make spending money in college by blowing balloons up with his ass, before he learned how to talk out of it...he'd draw a crowd in front of the student union, and charge a buck a balloon, and everybody would laugh at the (beet red) faces he made....he'd admonish them, saying, "Hey, at least I'm working my way through school, and remember that this is the future face of the Republican party"...the Dean made him stop after some Republican fraternity guy got drunk at a fundraiser for Ollie North and did the "inhale the helium thing" with one of Beck's balloons to impress a girl (a big one called "The Ronnie Reagan Special"), and passed right on out and didn't come to for three days....Beck complained that his termination was a "typical limp wristed pinko homo Democrap ploy"...

Simpson High School in Houston....13 year old Clamidia Jefferson-Washington was pregnant and the coach continued to let her play anyway, because in his words, "Shit man, she always made points, and how we gonna get that aluminum money with a losing team?"....she continued to play until she had twins right there on the court, and sued the school for "ignorance and liability"....the ACLU got involved and it cost the school over 2 million dollars....this guy in Ft. Worth is just being careful...
