Ad Rant: Why the Walmart Clown is funny (WalletPop)

Feb 1st 2010 4:32PM When I first watched this commercial, I thought I'd roll over laughing. It is absolutely hysterical!! Without a doubt, people who think it's offensive have totally inept senses of humor! Sure, I can relate to his happy expectation of giving joy to his daughter and then......yeow! The shocked look and howl is what's so doggone funny because it's totally unexpected! People actually thought this was a real situation? Unbelievable!!!!

Free housing deals for Salvation Army officers create image problem (WalletPop)

Jan 5th 2010 11:01PM I used to donate to the Salvation Army, but no more! Not since I found out two years ago that the employees live in outlandishly expensive houses so they can "be close to work." HA! I should have been so lucky! I'm retired now and believe me, my little 70 year old frame home has seen better days and I have to live on Social Security! That's even been frozen for two years while all my bills are going up! The older I get, the higher they go! Give me free housing too, okay? I'm copying this article and copying it so I can drop it in all the kettles at Christmastime!!!

Michelle Duggar Hospitalized; Thanks Fans For Good Wishes (ParentDish)

Dec 8th 2009 11:38AM How many children? Well, if I were God, maybe then I could tell her how many to have. It's HIS decision to whom He wants to give life. It's the people who insist on killing the babies unborn that break His heart. He knew them before they were! More power to the Duggars if they want to have twenty or more!! As long as God is willing that more should live, so be it!

Sharon Stone's Basic Instinct Told Her to Try a New Hairstyle, and We Love It (Stylelist)

Oct 13th 2009 11:36AM To Alex, Keon, shelgers, flyerbo04, mb, EmmaJ and trixie louise........Please take your "ads," which show your self absorbsion and sick sexual fantasies somewhere else, preferably where the sun don't shine.
As for Sharon Stone, she looked better and much younger, with the old hair style. The bangs draw attention to all the wrinkles in her face, while the pulled-back style opens up her face for a fresher look. The new hair style also makes her look like Marg Helgenberger, another one who is aging and keeps trying to look much younger.

The toilet-tissue issue: an environmentalists' dilemma (Daily Finance)

Sep 25th 2009 12:27PM I don't belong to the extreme right or the extreme left, but I do have my opinions. On the "soft toilet tissue issue," my personal preference is not to buy it. The cheapest brand will do me just fine. My butt hasn't complained one bit about it and as long as it's happy....I'm happy. You pay twice as much for twice as little with the soft stuff anyway. Seems like this generation just likes the soft life anyway. To each his own.

Would You Shave Off Your Eyebrows in the Name of Fashion? (Stylelist)

Jul 20th 2009 12:28PM Sorry Cazza, you're not quite right on the "hairy" issue. Yes, as women age, they get harrier on their chin/face. However, they they LESS hairy everywhere else! Even their brows. Believe me, I know!

How to Scrub Your Old PC's Hard Drive (Switched)

Feb 7th 2009 1:27PM The same thing happens to me and all it means is that the server to that particular page is full of people reading it. As soon as someone gets off, you can get on. Just keep hitting "Retry" and it will eventually get in, or click off and go back to it later when it's not so busy.
My problem is that when I sign in on the Sign-On screen, I have my name and password saved, so it lets me through to the next screen, but a small box pops up and tells me I have an INVALID PASSWORD so I can't sign on the computer, and I have to re-enter my password. So I do, with the exact thing that was on the previous screen, and then it lets me sign on! What's going on? Anybody got a clue?

Teen arrested for serving her mom salt (ParentDish)

May 24th 2008 3:55PM Sherry,
As much as I agree (mostly) with your comments, I must take issue with your spelling.........Entitled, not intitled and disciple is not the word you want here unless you're talking about one of Christ's disciples. The word is discipline. Either way, the poor girl does need help.
