Could Elvis be a girl? (ParentDish)

Jun 5th 2008 4:37PM I was named Ashley back when it was strictly a boy's name or a surname, but never a girl's first name. Now look at all the girls named Ashley. I see no difference with Elvis. I know of several European countries that require their citizens to use a baby name from an approved list. I believe Switzerland is one.

Soldier's Cell Phone Calls Parents During Battle in Afghanistan (Switched)

May 9th 2008 4:13PM I got up today, took care of my little girl, washed the dog, got groceries, went to work,.....and thought I had a rough day. We don't have a clue as to what our men and women soldiers are going thru for this country and what rough days really are all about,. Well now I do, and it sent chills up my spine to know we have sent them over there to do that day in and day out, until the powers that be say they can come home. I will say a prayer for them tonight.

Disorder in the Skies: Baggage Mangler (AOL Video Blog)

Feb 9th 2008 12:21PM If he was going fast and throwing them on, then I'd say it was usual and ok, but the guy was just taking his good old time picking up the bag, and throwing it againt the back board with all his might. He was irritated about something, and was taking it out on the luggage. I'm just glad I'm not his wife. If you pack right, luggage can take it...but it shouldn't have to.

Jamie Lynn Spears on Britney (Spinner)

Feb 2nd 2008 5:47PM Who cares what the stars have to say about Britney. They have the mental potential to be in the bed next to her in a few months. These people are paid to entertain us, yet half of America acts like their opinion is worth something.

Nicole Richie fears pain of childbirth (ParentDish)

Jan 24th 2008 9:16PM Ahhh, all the battle stories of labor and delivery. It's like we wear them as our badge of courage, talk about them to all who will listen, and feel we have the right to say how each woman should deliver her baby based on our own personal experience. Women, research your options, make your decision based on what you want, not the granola toting momma down the street, nor the celebrities who like to expose their C section scars. In this day and age, you can have it your way.

Cindy Crawford is human after all (ParentDish)

Dec 4th 2007 4:54PM Sandy...keep the moo moo on, and don't compare yourself to someone so far out of your league. You are the one with the belly sag, don't project it on to others.

'Tubby Tax' on the way for obese travelers? (That's Fit)

Nov 20th 2007 9:37AM Fat people are already paying more. There is only so much that will fit in that seat since the armrest restricts overflow. Those too large, either fly 1st class or purchase 2 seats. Give me a fat person any day over screaming kids or a person who reeks of the cigarette they just smoked before getting on the plane. At least the confines of that well abused armrest restricts the fat guy....I say we pay more for kid control.
