Organic Valley Accused of Violating Organic Egg Standards (Slashfood)

Apr 20th 2011 2:23PM Some of the people here need to look at some of the science on what enzymes, etc. are produced in animals when they are cramped, confined, stressed, etc. Same goes for all animals produced for food - the more humane their death, the "cleaner" the product. I am 69 and also grew up on a small farm - any good farmer then knew this simple fact.

What the Proposed Social Security Reform Might Mean for You (WalletPop)

Dec 6th 2010 1:07PM Looks like I might be one of the few seniors on this site - most of the answers in this article are fine and would help sustain the system for the future. Some of you are only interested in voiceing your usual selfish beliefs. My husband & I are 69, worked since 14, he was a bricklayer, I was a bookkeeper (still work part time), 3 college educated sucessful children, 6 grandchldren, never had to be on welfare and go to church. My husband was 60 when he got 4th stage throat cancer from asbestos damage, then a stroke at 67 from the radiation damage to his artery - survived both, and he was never sick before that. Disability is not welfare - it is what can happen in your life, and not be your fault - AND something you never expect to happen to you!

Daniel Day-Lewis Will Play Abraham Lincoln for Steven Spielberg (Moviefone Blog)

Nov 25th 2010 9:52AM One of my favorite movies too - among his others. My Left Foot, Last of the Mohicans, Gangs of New York are 3 of the best movies ever! Either actor would have done well, but DDL does have a way of immersing himself totally in a role - like the ones above. Happy Thanksgiving - ALL!

Christine O'Donnell Regrets Witch Ad, Compliments David Spade, Talks Masturbation Comment (VIDEO) (AOL TV)

Nov 11th 2010 5:03PM It doesn't bother me that she is Dumb, it bothers me that she is "Dumb - and Proud of it".

Elisabeth Hasselbeck Is Outraged She Wasn't Asked for I.D. Before Voting (VIDEO) (AOL TV)

Nov 2nd 2010 6:12PM Live in Cleveland, OH - everyone shows ID - DL or something else. Might be that there are different laws in different states. I know, because we voted today.

'Dancing With the Stars' Results: Who Got Voted Off in Week 4? (AOL TV)

Oct 13th 2010 1:27PM Can't stand her mother - but pulling for Bristol as of now - not a natural but tries hard and does improve each week it seems.

Friday Night Fights (MyDaily)

Sep 29th 2010 4:53PM Just like I used to tell my kids when I was correcting them: "You have to wait until you grow up to be a real A##**le!

Miley Cyrus-Perez Hilton Feud Takes Backseat at MuchMusic Awards (PopEater)

Jun 21st 2010 7:56PM Thanking God for my grandaughter, 17, 6' tall, blonde hair and very pretty - just accepted to pre med at Columbia - very smart, athletic, wears hair in ponytail, casual dress w/nothing showing that shouldn't - just won the award at her school for "excellence in sportsmanship and leadership".

We Tried It: Dr. Oz's 10 Commandments for Weight Loss (That's Fit)

Jun 1st 2010 12:17PM Just wonder what YOU ALL look like - my guess, you look more like me (68 - overweight, computer user too much) or my my husband (69 - lean as at age 20, never gets on the computer). Would pay all of you (and me) to get off this stupid thing and try moving around. Just sayin! Have a good day, all!

The Myth of Testing for Giftedness (ParentDish)

May 21st 2010 7:59PM The important thing for a parent is to recognize what talents each of her children have and to respect their differences. Then try to give them the best education you can, encourage them in sports or music or other activities, work to make them happy, kind, and useful people. This works with any child - We have 3 children (a computer analyist in business, a speech pathologist, and a high school science teacher), with their different talents. We have 6 granchildren, Jacob (15) has autism and is given the same opportunities as I said before - and he does very well, is kind, and loved by all. Needless to say, I have been very blessed and I thank God for all I have.
