Denver HOA Looks to Ban Sidewalk Chalk Art (AOL Real Estate)
Jun 11th 2012 9:10PM I wouldn't have a problem with my neighbors letting their kids draw all over our apartment building and the surrounding walls if they ever cleaned up after themselves. A year later and it's still there, that's too long. Let the kids draw, but the parents should wash up afterwards. Shared space is shared space.
Lady Gaga Thanks Whitney Houston For Inspiring 'Born This Way' at Grammys (PopEater)
Feb 13th 2011 11:43PM I love Gaga. She is a performance artist, everything she does and wears has intent and a purpose. Furthermore, she has actual musical talent, both vocally and on the piano. She is the real deal. I adore her and am proud to be a little monster.
One Man's Quest to Not Watch Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman Make Out (PopEater)
Nov 14th 2010 11:56PM The did this movie already, except without the sensationalism of girl-on-girl action. It was called "All About Eve."
Miley Cyrus Shows Off Underwear During a Racy German TV Performance (PopEater)
Nov 9th 2010 1:30AM As far as the "underwear" she's wearing, bloomers instead of short is the latest of the high-fashion trends. Maybe still not appropriate for 17-year-olds, but a little more so than actual underwear.
'Whip My Hair' Video Arrives, Willow Smith Remains Awesome (PopEater)
Oct 18th 2010 11:27PM I agree, so cute! I wish they hadn't auto-tuned her voice, it made her sound older than she is and I don't think she needs it, but it didn't ruin the song. Glad she has parents who can make this happen for her =)
New York Parents Fit to be Tied Over Racy Homework Assignment (ParentDish)
Oct 10th 2010 11:40AM I agree! As a high school senior, we were supposed to watch "Stand By Me," but the teacher decided the use of the f-word was too much for us 17 & 18-year-olds. Instead, she had us watch "The Gladiator," which was full of violence, maiming, and killing. I have no stomach for violence, which I told her. She told me I could go to the library and write a report instead. Not wanting to give my classmates another reason to tease me, I stayed and got to watch such scenes as a man getting his face ripped off by a mace. How is that less inflammatory than a four-letter word? I'll never understand people's reasoning on the issues of sex being worse than violence.
Jodie Foster's Alleged Assault Victim Shares Post-Attack Photo (PopEater)
Oct 8th 2010 1:58PM She's a celebrity, not a superhero. She can't tell within a matter of seconds whether the person (who looks like a full-grown man) behind the telephoto lens is a fan or a professional out to sell her image for profit. Wasn't she with her child at the time? Don't celebrities also get criticized for ALLOWING their children to be photographed? Furthermore, remember the whole thing where she was stalked? And they wanted to shoot Reagan to impress her? Remember that? And we expect her to go about her life normally, never exhibiting paranoid behavior after such a traumatizing event? She's a celebrity, not a superhero. Don't expect her to have super powers. Don't blame her for attacking a fan, blame the paparazzi for keeping her in a perpetually paranoid state.

Sorry, couldn't leave it hanging like that. But I agree. Paris should go to jail.
Randy Quaid and Wife Evi Arrested Again (PopEater)
Sep 19th 2010 1:40PM I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt until you posted your psychiatrist's phone number on a public message board about an article on Randy Quaid. You want people to believe you? Stop making questionable decisions.
Customers from Hell (WalletPop)
Aug 27th 2010 1:43AM I've got one that's not about a woman. I was working in the coffee shop of a book store. It was an extremely busy day, I had a huge line that wouldn't quit, I was all by myself behind the counter ringing up coffee, treats, books, whatever, and then making the coffee etc, working as fast as I could. A man comes up with his two kids and asks for iced tea. We didn't have tea already iced, but I explained that I could brew tea for him & pour it on ice. I asked what kind of tea he wanted and he screamed, "I don't care, just make me the damned tea!!!" Rather than start a fight with him in front of his children, I made the tea. No one in line spoke up for me. No one would look me in the eye, and no one even left a tip.

A company "walking it back" in reference to PR flackery is my favorite idiom this week

For example, you can play installed Xbox One games without the disc, buy and sell games and, yes, share them others. http://t.co/P5nHn9WTjl

Lots of misinformation about used games and sharing games on the Xbox One floating around. Here's what we know: http://t.co/P5nHn9WTjl
