Thief Demands $185K Ransom for Cell Phone, Goes to Jail Instead (Switched)
Oct 19th 2007 10:13AM Didn't Ashton Krutcher leave his cell phone in a NY cab and the cab driver asked for one million to return the phone? On the cell phone is 35 photos of Demi nude and doing naughty things, which is why the cab driver asked for a million bucks. I wonder if the same thing will happen to the cab driver that happend to this young man?
Mo Wants To Know ... What's Sherri Shepherd's Next Bombshell? (News Bloggers)
Sep 26th 2007 8:46PM I honestly don't know how Sherri could say she didn't know the world was round. She claims she was overwhelmed and couldn't understand the question being asked of her. Sherri did say later she does know the earth is round, but the damage is done. Not the greatest start for a new co-host on the show. I actually feel very sorry for her. How embarrassing. (Wish Elizabeth would leave. I'd rather have a dumb Sherri then an opinionated Elizabeth. The first I could learn to tolerate, the second I can't).
Is the winner of this U.K. modelling show plus-sized? (That's Fit)
Sep 25th 2007 9:03PM Want to know if your weight is healthy? Check your BMI. If you're in the healthy range (18-23), you're just fine. Lisa may be perfectly healthy at her size 0. My son's finance is a size 0 and registers an 18.2 on the BMI scale. So lets not assume someone is unhealthy because they are thin, that's not the case. If you're a size 14 and your BMI is in the healthy range, then that is your perfect size.
And because the average size woman in the US is a 12 or 14, that doesn't mean all women are healthy at that weight. We shouldn't concentrate on weight or size, but on a healthy BMI score. That's what's important.
And 47 is not an old hag, thank you! :)
Is the winner of this U.K. modelling show plus-sized? (That's Fit)
Sep 25th 2007 8:45PM This model doesn't appear to be heavy by any means. I don't necessarily think women who are a size 2 - 8 look bad! Many look absolutely fantastic. It depends on your height, bone structure and muscle tone. I've been a size 4 my entire life. One of my girlfriends is a size 16 and another is a size 8. We're all different and we need to accept and appreciate how unique each one of us is. I hate cookie cutter images of how women are supposed to look. The only thing I don't quite get is how a size 10 can be a plus size model. Using a size 10 model for plus size clothing is like using a size 0 for the misses sizes. It's a falsehood. Why not use a true plus size model who's a size 16, 18 or larger? How a dress fits on a size 10 model is not how a dress fits on a size 18 woman. Just as how a size 0 dress doesn't fit the same on a size 8 woman.
The reason I feel dress manufactures do not show average size or plus size women in ads, is because secretly all women long to be thin. It's the in thing, so the manufactures show you what you WANT to see and want you WANT to believe you'll look like in their clothing. That does all sisters a great disservice.
NFL Bans Cheerleaders From Flaunting It in Front of Visiting Players (Fanhouse NFL Blog)
Sep 24th 2007 1:58PM Ever noticed how many of the cheerleaders date the football team (if you like to call it that)? To the person who said cheerleaders cheerlead because they love to dance. HUH? I took dance for 15 years. What they're doing is NOT dancing.

Sep 24th 2007 1:53PM Jenna, brainy women are not jealous of cheerleaders, they're embarassed and insulted by their actions as they portray women in a negative light. Some of us work very hard to have careers and be respected in our fields. If you personally use your body to get your house, to support yourself, that's your business. Your comment does more to undermind what cheerleaders stand for then a comment in defense of them. You have no time for "poor men" because you have no moral values. Have you asked yourself what will be left once your bod leaves you? You might find a use for those poor men afterall.
NFL Bans Cheerleaders From Flaunting It in Front of Visiting Players (Fanhouse NFL Blog)
Sep 24th 2007 1:43PM I agree that the cheerleaders dress like strippers. Why do they have to wear such skimpy clothes? Over the years the cheerleaders uniforms have gotten practically nonexistent. To me that demeans the idea of cheerleaders and the NFL. What really gets me is the cheerleaders say they're "professionals and take their cheerleading career seriously". They want respect. If you want respect, then act and dress respectfully. Most the girls look like cheap, tacky sluts.
The Story of Jenna Elfman's Life (The Cooler)
Aug 22nd 2007 11:18AM Why the name Story for a boy? That's totally bizarre. I don't understand these crazy names. It's the celebrity thing to name their child a weird name so that the CELEBRITY receives the attention! They are the most narcissistic group of individuals on the planet!
Rumer Willis Stars in the Dope Show (The Cooler)
Aug 22nd 2007 11:12AM Meme, I've been watching the TRIO go out to dinner, on vacation together and it blows my mind! Why would Bruce want to tag along with his ex and her husband? I'm feeling very sorry for Bruce these days if he's so pathetic he has to hang out with Demi and Ashton for entertainment. It's weird, isn't it? I'm beginning to think they do three somes. Why else would he be there? (You notice he never brings a date of his own).
Rumer Willis Stars in the Dope Show (The Cooler)
Aug 22nd 2007 11:07AM I like how Rumor looks, she's very pretty. I do worry about young actresses when their parents are actors. Here is mom, cosmetic surgery head to toe, middle age married to a much younger man (obviously strugglying with aging). Then there's dad, Bruce who dates 22 year olds. Bruce and Demi like to pretend they give stability to their kids, but I disagree. The simple fact both parents are rich and famous makes a normal existence non-existant for Rumor. She's lucky because her parents are wealthy (I'd enjoy that), but every move she makes will be amplified 100 times over because of the gene pool. I can see mom and dad lighting up a joint, so I'm not suprised Rumor was doing the same. We learn by example.
