Jan 11th 2011 3:20AM Carol, Carol, Carol: People are being shot, people are dying and all you care about is it's "sexist"...sigh....lighten up and if it offends you...uh, don't watch. Sheesh.

Edamame Fried Rice (Kitchen Daily)

Jan 11th 2011 2:43AM Uh, so what if it's the same people? Of course, it's staged. It's a suggested recipe and not a reality show. Heavens.

Wendy's New "Dave's Hot 'n' Juicy Cheeseburger" and Sea-Salt Fries (Slashfood)

Nov 11th 2010 3:57AM Wendy's @ Millenia Mall area in Orlando, FL. Just awful and young lady taking orders inside needed to learn a few basic manners & not act as though she was a princess. Tried another Wendy's in Casselberry, FL. Mom likes that awful spicy chicken sandwich...why, I'll never know. Got it plain to take home for her. $4.25+ approximately. I thought it was a mistake until I called another Wendy's to confirm the price was right for the "sandwich." Confirmed. Dried out, nasty flavor, nasty, nasty, nasty. Give me a Chick-Fillet (sorry for misspell ... can't recall @ 4 a.m.)...3 piece, no fries, no nothing. Just basic chicken and tastes like chicken. If we have to do drive through and not local eateries, we go to Chickie-Filly now...mom has caught on to the awfulness of the other places (finally)....

An As Seen on TV Thanksgiving: Products that could help (WalletPop)

Nov 8th 2010 1:34PM I bought the newwave oven (however one spells it) ages ago. It is a piece of junk, a piece of junk, a piece of junk. BUT, the glass bowl bottom is great for watering/soaking hanging plants, etc. So I guess it was good for something. Actually, the Ronco-Donko Set it and forget it is one of the best items around. Makes a mean roasted chicken, wings that are great, roasted veggies and, of course, salmon with a spring of rosemary and sliced lemon on top. 18 minutes and it's incredible. For the brownie pan, if you make them right and don't overcook them, the whole pan is great. Most people just cook the hell out of everything and act like these products will make them better cooks. Keep it simple, pay attention and a lot of easy things will work -- like cracking eggs.

Tarragon and Dill Chicken Salad (Kitchen Daily)

Oct 9th 2010 12:23PM why not fix your printer (a new one is about $50) and print it out. Or copy and save it to a word document and then when you spend a few pennies to take care of printer, print it out. DOH.

NuWave Oven Pro review: It's the real deal (WalletPop)

Sep 16th 2010 11:07PM DON'T DO IT, please. I bought one quite awhile back and it is a piece of junko, junko, junko...unless you don't like to cook. The best type of this is still the Showtime Rotisse...I went through 2 of them due to use constantly - as in 6 days per week. Put in a piece of fish in the basket, add some lemon wedges, a spring of rosemary and in 18 minutes turning it produced incredible fish. As for chickens, once you learned how to "thread" the chicken it just turned and juiced and it was unbelievable. I tried this other thing and experimented constantly and was just non-plussed that it was a garbage. I find that if you just plan ahead, don't get fancy during the week or use simple techniques, you can put an incredible dinner on the table without this thing. I was so sorry I spent one red cent on it...never again quoth the raven.

Sep 9th 2010 10:27PM Good grief...there are all types of music -- not is all types of music. I must be too tired and it's time to get some rest. Maybe I'll go put on one of his CD's and enjoy. Peace.
