Feb 28th 2008 12:09AM I honestly did not realize that the word lynch was such an offensive word. I wouldn't have thought anything of what he said if I hadn't read this article. I am not defending him but it can sometimes be hard to know what might be offensive to others. I mean I know about the lynch mobs and the pain and devastation that they caused but I didn't know that lynch was automatically associated with that.

Dec 21st 2007 9:56AM This does not come as a suprise since we live in a throw away society. If anything takes any effort at all we should just give up. When you make the choice to adopt it should be like giving birth. All kids have problems and once you make the choice to be by their side you have a resposibility to stay there and help them overcome the difficulties in their life. Obviously this lady was looking for some kind of status symbol and when the child wasn't "perfect" she decided it wasn't worth her time.
