Jan 21st 2010 8:45AM I think it's assinine to take what the Times Mag blogger said as insultive or in any way accusatory. When the very idea of someone who has been accused in the past of looking anorexic having "put on a little weight" is considered an "accusation" as this writer put it, no wonder teenage girls starve themselves and exercise themselves to death when people think the idea of women having curves, looking soft, the very notion of womanliness, is regarded by people writing for something called "That's Fit" as derogatory. Shame on you for taking those comments in a negative light. The stars looked beautiful - like women, not stick figures. The intent in the blog was clear, it is your preconceived notions of what make someone beautiful or womanly that are messed up. "Roundness" does not equal unattractive. Breasts are round, hips are round, most of our parts are in fact round. Rethink what YOU consider beautiful or healthy before you pounce on someone else offering praise for what actually is.

Mar 29th 2008 1:20AM For indegestion or gas, a tablepoon of baking soda in a glass of lukewarm water works better than any antacid I've ever tried. It's gross, but it's worth the wincing at the taste.

Aug 13th 2007 6:03PM Okay, honestly, a left-handed cell phone? Some of this stuff is just stupid. Now, I do prefer left-handed scissors and things that aid in activities which require a degree of manual-dexterity, but it's not my eyes that have a problem operating in a primarily right-hand oriented world, it's my actual hand strength and precision, so reversing the orientation of the keys on a keypad only serves to confuse me. I don't read backwards for goodness sake! I must say, though, I do like left-handed pens and pencils...
