Aug 8th 2007 5:29PM I don't feel Mrs. Edwards was that far off the mark when it comes to the media, it has been used in the past to sink many a campain whether it be on the local or national level. One candidate used the media by stating in the newspaper that his opponent's wife was a homosapien! Needless to say his opponent lost. But I don't feel that Edwards is being slighted that much. Yes it is new to us that a woman get this far, but not for a blackman,
have you people forgotten about the Rev. Jessie Jackson? I do believe he could have won the Democratic nomination when he was running had he not come to a compromise with the Democratic Party, something they wanted, they came to him with their hats in their hands.
