Sep 30th 2010 9:03AM You all laugh when posters recommended (Oak) should be in a mental insititutuon but there's a little truth to that. Oak is a female pretending to be a male. How is that any different from a human pretending to be an animal? A child molester pretending to be teacher? The anti christ pretending to the president of the united states? When a civilized human being goes to any effort to be someone or something they are not, then its time to ask some questions about the stability of the persons mind. Also consider the rest of the male student body who is eligible to win the honor of king. How would it feel to you if a female at your teens school won the title most deserving of your son? This isnt much different than a male co worker earning a higher salary than his female counterpart simply because he's male. And dont fool yourself. This happens every day. Oak is a female. Therefore, she should be honored as the queen. She wasnt honored as the queen because the student body chose the person who best fits that title. And it wasnt a male, was it? Its self ritious to assume you should receive an honor simply because you want it. Its appalling to feel an emotional upset, agaonizing your story on the air in front of millions, refusing to see the right and wrong behind your self ritious behavior, simply because you didnt win something that was by all rights not yours to win in the first place. (Good reason for a psychologist there). True, we dont live in the dark ages. But we also dont live in hell where anything and everything goes, good, bad, or ugly. We live in a civilized society. We have enough problems in our world today dealing with criminals. Do we really need to care that someone is so confused about thier gender that we should give them whatever it is that they request, just to avoid hurting thier little feelings? This is the real world, folks and in the real world, we apply for jobs we're qualified for. We get the jobs we're qualified for. Oak is not qualified to run for a title that is specifically meant for a male. This isnt prejudicial. Its the truth. And just to run a little deeper here.... its instances like this that ruin the fun for everyone. Soon, there will be so many males and females resisting the proper order of things, making headlines against school staff, suing the state for being biased, that one day there wont be school dances and honors like king and queen. Imagine if we looked the other way on this issue. Other schools would have to soon follow the lead just to avoid law suits. Now look into the future 20 years after allowing this run its course. Youd walk into the hallways of schools that appear to be schools for clowns. Give in once, you give in forever.

Mar 18th 2010 2:46PM The whole tipping your server days should have been gone a long time ago. As if taking your family for a nice dinner out isnt expensive enough, we are also required to pay the employees wages. How well do companies profit from this old tactic? Just watch the business as it booms every day and that should answer the question. Its a pity on the servers that they are forced to work under these conditions but I wonder how many of past, present, and future servers will ever bother to speak up on the issue. I dont tip any business or any employee and I've never felt a bit guilty about it. Its not the servers I aim to hurt but the profession of tipping as a whole. I've worked as a server for about 8 yrs total so I dont need to hear any sob stories or lectures on my choice. I left the industry simply because I dont condone it. Just as I boycott businesses who perform less than legal job duties or sell a product I dont feel is appropriate. And that is my American right. It is my American right to tip or not tip and its my American right to be a patron of your business or not. If you dont like the game, dont be a player. Pure and simple.

There are a substantial amout more of single women taking care of the kids on their own than than men.

I wouldnt buy these jeans, nor even consider buying unless they modeled these beautiful jeans specifically designed for curvy women ON curvy women.

Furthermore, the price of these jeans seem to prove that they are also designed for women in the upper class income group. How about the average person? The average person is not wealthy. Certainly not wealthy enought to purchase $200.00 jeans.

Oct 1st 2009 12:44AM I cant imagine the sister not giving her own mother some of that money, unless... the sister is actually a half sister, neither having the same mother. Maybe there has been years of tension between the mother and rest of the family because of her easy acceptance and materialistic use of her own sons money. Maybe its a well know fact she has been using him for his money and now the family laughs in the face of Karma. Personally, I cant imagine what kind of person she must be to live so lavishly on her sons money. I would think it would be an embarrassement to rely so heavily on his money. Also, I cant imagine why she hadnt prepared for her future since you never know... you could get shot in the leg and it could kill you. There are too many possible ways her sons life could have snuffed out before his time that she should have been concerned about. I guess now, with the money left from the sale of her condo, its furnishings, her car, jewelry.. it would be a nice amount for her son to have left her. She might be better to be thankful she had the chance to live a lifestyle she didnt earn herself.

When they can't take the heat they sue because they are unable to perform their duties, she should have stayed home and gotten pregnant. Woman cannot do a man's job! Unless your a big cow!
