Hot Stat: Today's Homes Burn Faster Than Ever (AOL Real Estate)
Nov 9th 2011 10:23PM I am so scared of candles in a house. Anytime I go on someone else's house and see a candle lit I blow it out. I don't understand how people leave them burning, especially near drapes and other flammable things.
Vacant House Yields Late Owner's Stash of Cash (AOL Real Estate)
Nov 9th 2011 10:19PM I'll be honest, I would have kept it. I probably would have stood there for a minute really paranoid that I'm on hidden camera or something, then I would have locked it in my trunk like nothing happened.
Meet Rat Island's New Big Cheese (AOL Real Estate)
Oct 5th 2011 12:44PM I guess if he's happy then good for him. I wouldn't blow $160 on it, nevermind $160k. I'm wondering if it's already full of broken beer bottles from people fishing off the island, how is he going to keep people out of there? It's not like you can call the cops and have them send the people on their way, how is he going to keep it clean?
Pregnant Man Sheds Baby Weight, Shows Off New Bod (ParentDish)
Jul 28th 2011 11:02PM I'm sorry this is not a he or a she. This is an IT. These poor kids. Are they going to grow up to learn that daddy is a freak? Or that mommy is a lesbian? Save them a seat on the shrink's couch.
Restaurant Bans Young Children (AOL Small Business)
Jul 13th 2011 8:31AM I manage a restaurant and I wish my employer would do this too. I've seen so many parents come in with their kids and just let them run loose like wild animals. One family had 2 kids and while the parents sat and ate their dinner the wild dingo kids were literally rolling on the floor, running through the dining room and licking the glass windows. Another family with 2 kids, parents were sitting with the kids in a booth, one parent and one kid on each side. The parents are sitting there eating while the brats were making a trampoline out of the booth seats. We have low hanging light fixtures over the booths so they were playing swing the light while jumping up and down. The parents said nothing and just sat there and ate. If that were my kid I would have dragged him out by the arm and beat his a$$ silly. I wonder sometimes who runs the house parents or the brats. I must say though that we have plenty of black families that come in and I've never seen a black kid running a muck like that. Probably cuz their kids know they'll get their a$$es whooped for it. Maybe every other parent needs to take a lesson from a black parent when it comes to teaching kids to know their role.
Food Poisoning: Is It a Crime? (Slashfood)
Mar 4th 2011 9:42PM I manage a restaurant and food safety and sanitation are the #1 priority of the company. All our management staff MUST pass a serv-safe class every few years. We monitor employee hand washing and only hire associates that appear to have good hygiene. We are very strict with standards as far as food temperatures goes, and we do everything right to ensure no one gets sick. To my knowledge, no one has ever gotten a food borne illness from our restaurant chain. Although the company does everything right, as far as precautions goes, it is not always possible to prevent something like this from happening. The manager can not follow people into the bathroom of course, and although we require a person to re-wash their hands once returning to the line, we have no way of knowing what they did when the stall door was closed. The person very well might have touched their shirt before leaving the bathroom stall. They return to the line and lean over to reach for something and their shirt touches the cutting board. Not realizing this happened they make your lunch and accidentally make someone sick, and in addition everyone that touches the cutting board now has the bacteria on their gloves. I could give you 100+ more scenarios that end up with someone ACCIDENTALLY getting sick. While a company can do everything within their control to prevent a food borne illness, nothing is 100%. There is no magic wand anyone can waive that will detect bacteria, and until that exists, you can't blame the manager. On the other hand, if the place is obviously filthy, people not washing their hands, touching their mouth, face etc, and no one is monitoring their behavior, then they should hold the manager accountable. The manager, and also the board of health inspector that signed off on their inspection.

Sep 7th 2010 12:03PM I want to know...for my next life, what line do you get in right before birth to be part of the "lucky sperm club"? I think I got in the wrong line for this life.
Lucky sperm club = rich mommy and daddy to pay for everything and you never ever have to work a day in your life.
School Mural Sparks Charges of Racism (ParentDish)
Jun 13th 2010 1:19PM Don't forget the hate crimes. If I beat up a black girl and yelled a slur I'm charged with a hate crime. If she beat me up and yelled white trash she might get an A&B if anything. Look at the election, Obama said he was proud to be a black man (well half black raised by his white family) what if McCain said he was proud to be white? Forget it, he would have been all done.
Mother Teresa: Should a Saint Get Postal Service's Stamp of Approval? (Politics Daily)
Jan 30th 2010 5:21AM What is really wrong with these people? Don't they have anything better to do with their time? Will it really offend you to see Mother Teresa on a freaking stamp? If so you need to really get a life. What do these people really get out of crying like a bunch of babies? They make Christmas stamps, what if I were Jewish and it offended me? I have the Simpsons stamps what if I were overweight and thought the Homer stamp was offensive? Everyone in this world can find an endless amount of things to cry about everyday. Get a life and make better use of your excessive spare time. I'm guessing these losers were neglected as children so they grew up to be whining crybaby bitches.
