Mad Catz reveals Sonic accessories for DS and DSi (Joystiq Nintendo)

Jan 14th 2010 12:53AM "close" should be "clothes." I'm an idiot. :-(

Mad Catz reveals Sonic accessories for DS and DSi (Joystiq Nintendo)

Jan 14th 2010 12:52AM The iPod socks are 6 for $30. The Sonic Sockz are 1 for $13. And the Sonic Sockz are MORE reasonably priced?

I know everybody likes to hate on the iPod socks but I bought them for my first (and only) iPod. I think they were a reasonably good deal, I mean for a first party accessory. You got a bunch of nice colors and you could change them to match your close, and just throw them in the washer if you needed to. And you can use them for RAZRs and things too. I would give them a good review. :-)

Swag Saturday: Darksiders for the PS3 + loot galore! [update] (Joystiq)

Jan 9th 2010 2:27PM I would named it "Clem." I would hope it would be able to fly, gracefully, like a swan. And I would hope it would be made out of cocoa.

Joyswag: Win 4,000 Wii Points from Stop Stress [update] (Joystiq)

Jan 2nd 2010 1:22AM I am a stress coach, so this question is near and dear to my heart. :)

When stressed, the quickest way to reduce your stress (physically speaking) is through deep breathing exercises. We tend to breathe in short, quick breaths when we are stressed, but that is exactly the opposite of what our bodies need.

We also do visualizations. Not the iTunes kind, but some of them are almost as colorful. ;) I tell my clients to first imagine themselves surrounded by a cool purple light below them, one that warms and changes color as it passes through them until it is a warm golden light above them. And yes, for clients who respond better to concrete visuals, we sometimes imagine sitting on a beach as well. :)

We also listen to quiet, instrumental music. I often play Pachabel's Canon in D.

I hope that helps anyone who is still feeling a little bit of that holiday stress. Good luck everybody!

Joyswag: Wii System & Wii Fit Plus Bundles from QVC (Joystiq)

Dec 22nd 2009 7:09AM Nice...except for my diet. And the holidays aren't even over yet...*sigh*

I'd play Wii Fit if I got it of course, but I'd also try to get my mom on board (yes, pun intented). She has balance and walking issues, from chemotherapy. Wii Fit isn't exactly a workout, but I think it might be able to help her with that. :-)
