Loremo debuts 150 mpg concept car in Geneva (Autoblog)

Mar 22nd 2006 1:16PM "I'd rather have active safety any day of the week than all the airbags in the world. I would rather be able to avoid an accident in the first place. And to do that, you need acceleration, braking and handling. I am unwilling to sacrifice too much performance and handling for the sake of fuel economy. Prius that gets great economy but isn't very good as a car? I'll pass... "

well first of all you do not need acceleration, braking and handling in order to avoid an accident. you need to be a defensive driver and take responsibility for your own actions. acceleration, braking, and handling should be used in only extreme cases and very rare instances. if you are a good defensive driver, you should never need them.

As for the prius not being a very good car, then you have never driven or owned one. i'm not saying they are the best but they definitely are not a bad car! if i had the money i would get one!

well thats my 2 cents.
