Terrell Brandon Makes Citizen Arrest {Fanhouse NBA Blog}

Feb 25th 2008 6:54AM Why did you have to put "I'm not of the opinion that anyone with guns is good."? That is a sweepingly ignorant statement. It's not the gun that does the killing. More people die each year from bad drivers. Should we get rid of all motorized vehicles? What about airplanes, knives, trains, coal mines? See how stupid your statement is? The criminals already have the means to hurt you. The police are a REACTIONARY force, not a PREVENTIVE one. An unarmed citizenry is a defenseless one. Just remember the most famous government that "de-gunned" it's populus; NAZI GERMANY. That turned out well, didn't it?

Eli Manning to David Tyree: Ref Mike Carey in Perfect Position {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Feb 12th 2008 5:23AM He should have blown the whistle, he said so himself. Eli got lucky. When are the GIANTS fans going to accept the fact that they were given a little "extra loving" during that game?

ESPN.com's Bill Simmons Puts His Cursed Randy Moss Jersey Up for Auction {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Feb 11th 2008 6:36AM Refresher course here people:

Giants: 13-6
Patriots: 18-1

Tom Brady: 50 TD passes (NFL record)
Eli Manning: ??? Interceptions, Fumbles, etc

Randy Moss: 23 TD catches (NFL record)
David Tyree: ? 1, maybe 2?
Plaxico Burress: 16?, 17?

Sure the Pats admitted to videotaling during game #1 of the season, all teams do it, Mangini just made it obvious enough so that the NFL would have to do something about it. What about games 2-18 when they were being watched so closely that hey couldn't even blink an eye without being accused of something else? Cheaters? No. I don't think so. This is just a Giants fan fantasy to think that their ho-hum team did something ENORMOUS. They played a good game but even the official at the game said that Eli was "in the grasp" and normally he would have thrown the flag but for some reason he just didn't. They got lucky. A "good" football team beat one of the greatest in all of NFL history. Good for them. The Pats will be back in the SB within 2 years. The Giants? not.

Big Deal Coming for Ben Roethlisberger? {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Feb 11th 2008 6:24AM I am so glad that we pay these idiots MILLIONS of dollars to entertain us when the people who REALLY deserve it (Social workers, school teachers, nurses, doctors, police, firemen, etc) get paid diddly-squat by comparison. Without these folks people would die, be ravaged by criminlas and be dumb as rocks. Without Entertainers (Pro-atheletes included)people would.........have to talk with each other? Spend quality time with family and friends? Wow, what horror.

David Letterman Continues to Rip the Patriots {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Feb 10th 2008 8:48PM The SB was a great game to be at. The Giants "D" was outstanding but the truth is that they got lucky. Tyree's catch was luck. Manning getting free from being "in the grasp" before the Ref finally throwing the flag was luck. It's a GAME, pure and simple. Someone has to win and someone has to lose. It's better to be lucky than good.

Arlen Specter Wants to Know if Roger Goodell Investigated Tom Brady in Spygate {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Feb 10th 2008 2:05PM I am SOOOOOO glad that this crap was aired just before the Superbowl. Such an appropriate time to stir up trouble, when a team has to focus the most. Rumor has it that the Pats were "encouraged" to give it up to make this go away. Anyone else notice Tom "Mr. Accuracy" Brady's horrible day going long?

Cheaters Feel Cheated: Patriots Fans Want Final 1:40 of Super Bowl XLII Investigated {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Feb 10th 2008 2:01PM Stop the crying on BOTH sides !!!

I was there. The Tyree catch was pure lluck, nothing more. Burress' catch was blown covrage....oops. It happens. (See Moss' catch just a tad earlier in the game.) Manning was "in the grasp" and the Ref officiating the game even said so, he was ALMOST goingto blow the whistle when he managed to wriggle free....again luck, not skill. Brady was off his mark throughout the entire game, who know why (Gisele?) It is JUST A GAME folks. The Pats were taping during GAME 1 of the season. They were under TIGHT scrutiny for the rest of the season and STILL managed to kick everyone's butts, including the GIANTS. Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good. The Giants are not as good as the Patriots but were luckier this game, that's all. Deal with reality people. Belichick is today what Parcells was when he was a winning coach, ridiculed and hated because he wins....alot and people get mad when they lose (over and over and over). The Pats will be back in the SB well before the Giants again. Oh and for the record PHILLY fans are the absolute most God-awful worst fans anywhere.

Super Bowl Ref Mike Carey on Eli Manning to David Tyree Pass: 'I Anticipated a Sack' {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Feb 8th 2008 5:37AM He SHOULD have blown the whistle. In any other game it would have been "in the grasp" and they shouldn't change their ways of thinking just because it is the Super Bowl. Manning could have been seriously hurt and laid up for the 2008 season. Manning got a lucky break and Tyree made a lucky catch. Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good. Let's see them do it again in 08.

Vigilantes Use Online Sex Offender Map to Burn Down Wrong House {Switched.com}

Feb 6th 2008 6:42AM Daniel Gaunt, you are an idiot to assume that just because he is free means that he is safe. Have you ever heard of the term REPEAT OFFENDER ? Unfortunately in this country, the legal system does not work as well as it should and many of thesedisgusting perverts are loose on the street. If you think he is "safe" why don't you let him move next to you and your kids?

Patriots-Jets Game Suspended Because Fans Were Throwing Snowballs {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Dec 17th 2007 6:57AM To those that hate the Patriots because of their dominance of the game I have but one word: JEALOUSY. As for the fans throwing snowballs, yes they were immature but things like that go on all over the league. It is common knowledge that at Jets games, the men stand looking over the concrete barriers and chant for the women to show their breasts. The Philly fans are just cruel and nasty and it goes on and on. At least no-one went streaking. There are idiots everywhere and unfortunately stupidity does not have a cure yet.

The Pats will roll to the 4th Superbowl championship in this decade. They are the top of the food chain. Deal with it. "Those that can, do. Those that can't, gripe about it and say it's unfair."
